Watching Carlos, watching were Joe might be headed.... it hurts. It hurts watching this.

What's with all those feels ? Great episode again with a beautifil end.

I honestly don't now what I should think, on one hand it's obvious that this will end bad, very bad, yet on the other one I still haven't given up the hope to get a happy end.

This is a trap! Oh boy, Joe passed the punch drunk test... now, Danpei is way too optimistic but in the end he's not a viewer.

Nishi and Noriko are getting married.. predictable, but sweet nonetheless. she's much better off with Nishi.
The "Punch-Drunk Syndrome" is worst for boxers like Joe, cause you can't detect the symptoms due to their psychological tension masking up the symptoms, until the case becomes severe later on and it's too late to treat it. i guess it's obvious where this is heading.

This episode was just...so stressful to watch. Yoko is very very worried, I feel bad for her. Sweet that Nishi and Noriko are marrying, good for them. Joe is definitely punch-drunk, while the symptoms are tiny right now, I can already see Joe getting extremely stubborn and fighting Jose despite the fact that it could make the dementia permanent. And so, this situation just saddens me very much.

God damn, seeing Carlos like that would destroy anyone.
And the saddest part is that he actually got one of the least tragic endings among all these boxers we have met during Joe's journey.

Noriko gave up on Joe, better this way tho, and she looks so mature with her new looks.

The first season had this feeling of hope with every episode, like everything would somehow work out perfectly, but that feeling just isn't here anymore.

Didn't Joe have a problem with his sight at some point in the first season or is my brain making that up?

If they alluded to that happening earlier, it'd have been possibly the most subtle allusion in all of anime history. I think they probably didn't, due to the show (As Mushi Productions planned it) having been set to end before the whole punch drunk arc really had a chance to begin.

As I suspected, I am probably mixing it up with another Dezaki anime.

At least Carlos is now taken care of. Joe is definitely going to suffer something bad before/after the match with Jose
