| Yuu clapped his hands together after forming seals, forcing nature chakra into the area around him, causing a forest to grow instantaneously. This was his field now. (Wood Release: Nativity of a Sea of Trees: 140-17=123cp) "Good Yuu, good ninja learn to adapt to their environment, great ninja learn to make the environment adapt to them!" tutored Eerie, as he let out a great gout of flame, setting the forest aflame. "But I too, am a great shinobi." Yuu formed the snake seal. "Another wood jutsu Yuu? You're getting predictable!" However, Yuu wasn't using a wood jutsu, and initiated 'Water Release: Exploding Water Colliding Wave,' dowsing the flames. (7-123=116) "Deception is useful, but raw power is too!" Yuu's seasoned teacher said, as he cast a wind jutsu, causing the water to turn into powder snow in front of him. "But let's see if you can deal with multiple jutsu at once!" Eerie said, as he started forming a stream of hand seals. Yuu knew this jutsu, and he knew what he had to do, forming the seals for his wood clone jutsu. Surpassing the old geezer in speed due to the lesser amount of hand seals, Yuu had made three clones, two had already set them to either sides of the the battlefield, but the thrid was unseen. (116-21[7x3]=95) Eerie has 4 arms now and started forming seals, predicting Yuu's attacks. "Too late Yuu." Yuu's clones had been forming hand seals and had now finished, one clone used the 'wild lion's mane technique,' trying to ensnare Eerie from above, while the other used wood release cutting jutsu to form an arrow, which was also effected by tree shaping technique, shooting it at Eerie, and the 3rd was coming from underground to Eerie's location, unseen, while Yuu was forming a series of hand seals. (95-15[7x2+1]=80) Eerie let out a strong breath of air with one of his jutsu, repelling the hair of one of the clones, forcing it to ensnare itself, the clone technique losing effectiveness, and then erected a stone pillar to block the arrow, followed by a water bullet directed to the attack clone and sent a bolt of lightning towards the real Yuu. As the pillar arose, the clone that shot the arrow activated the second part of wood cutting, having it splinter off, then used his tree shaping technique to expand and evade the pillar, attempting to put pressure on Eerie by grappling him with thin wooden tendrils as they moved towards him, before the clone got hit by the water bullet and was cancelled out. The clone underneath Eerie, now seeming as the old man was distracted by the snare, rose up, opening itself and ensnaring the seasoned ninja in a wood encasement made from its own body by using the tree shaping technique. (80-1=79) As the lightning bolt hurtled towards Yuu, Yuu finished his jutsu, a giant wooden dragon rising up from the depths of the forest, carrying Yuu on its head as the bolt of lightning hit the dragon's wooden underbelly. (79-17=62) Yuu, riding on his newly formed dragon, formed a seal, then focused chakra for hte technique through his feet, the dragon quadrupling in size. (62-2[titanic growth tech x2]=60) Old man Eerie was defenseless, arms bound, as Yuu's monstrous creation started to fall upon him, but, when the time came, Eerie simply slipped his bonds by sliding through his bonds. The old ninja quickly formed 4 separate hand seals, all fire ninjutsu, firing them off one after the other - great fireball techniques. The dragon seemingly ate the first, the second singed it, but still its progress didn't slow, by this time Eerie had also started on 2 more ninjutsu, earth ninjutsu, so when his next 2 fireballs crashed against Yuu's wooden monstrosity without much effect other than adding fire to his apprentice's onslaught, he summoned up 2 thick earthen walls for defense. The dragon, on fire now from Eerie's onslaught, crashed into the earthen walls moulded with extra chakra for strength, but they only slowed the creature's progress, but then, from out of the ground, multiple stone pillars rose up, spearing the wooden dragon like spears to cavalry, causing it's movement to cease. Te earthen spears were coated in a sheath of lightning and wind, making it extra deadly. As the dragon came to a halt, Yuu was thrown from its head due to momentum, and through a series of acrobatic feats through the trees, he landed safely, and proceeded to attack Eerie within melee range. "Attacking your foe's weakness! Sorry Yuu, but my hands outnumber you!" Eerie's 4 arms helped him keep up with Yuu's bestial onslaught, earth chakra coursing through them making them harder helped too. Finally, Yuu found the effort hopeless, bounding backwards, shooting off 3 wood-cutting spears with haste as he retreated, then forming hand signs for his underground roots technique. As the wooden spikes sped towards Eerie, the old man used his earthen infused arms to deflect them, then huddled up to protect his vitals with his arms as the wooden spears exploded multi-directionally as barbs. This gave Yuu time to use his jutsu, as the roots of the whole forest came to him, entwining and wrapping around his legs as he formed the hand-seal for tree shaping technique. (60-28[7x4 roots]=36cp) Yuu smiled, and when old man Eerie straightened to see what Yuu had done, his eyes widened. "Well, this is a delight to see. A new combination of techniques!" he said, scratching his beard with one of his 4 hands. "However, you seem to still only use wood jutsu, even after all i tried to teach you the basics. That's what's important, the basics!" he lectured. Yuu funnelled his chakra into all of the roots connected to the trees around Eerie, causing them to bend to Yuu's will as they struck at Eerie with sharp lashing branches. (36-6[6x1]=30cp) "I will demonstrate the power of mastery over the basics child my poor, misguided, child!" Eerie said, as he formed 4 unique one-handed hand seals, focussing his chakra into the trees around him, forcing them to still themselves by stagnating the water within them. As hard as Yuu tried to move the wood of the trees, bend their life to his will and move them, the water in them seemed to be harder than ice, making them too difficult to bend with enough speed and force to be useful. Sure Yuu could control the trees, but when it was a battle against his chakra and his teacher's, Yuu knew who would win out, so Yuu cancelled the jutsu, escaping from the grasping roots at his feet. As Yuu cancelled his technique, so did Eerie, who then weaved hand signs. Yuu had seen them before; soon lava will sprout from the ground, so Yuu formed the hand signs for his waterfall basin technique. (30-6[2x3]=24cp) When Eerie's lava never arose the old man gained a quizzical expression. "What is this?" While Eerie was distracted, Yuu leapt at the old man, focussing the remainder of his chakra into his body, using the four legs technique and going into passing fang for a final onslaught. (24-20[20x1]=4cp) However, Eerie wasn't completely off guard, and snapping from his confusion, he formed a single hand seal with all for of his hands - it was a technique only he could use - and he spun around once as a tornado-force wall of wind spun around him, tossing Yuu aside and out of control, using Yuu's technique's own power against him to send him sprawling unconscious. This was on of Eerie's own specially designed kekkei touta, a combination of lightning, earth and wind, leaving the field torn asunder, all of the trees uprooted and flung miles away. ------------- Eerie was looking at Yuu when he came to, "Using waterfall basin jutsu to create water veins around my lava while it was underground was a smart move. I did not expect that!" the old man commended, chuckling to himself as he drank his tea. "Mind you, if you had done what i expected and retreated into the trees to use a water jutsu after the lava rose, you still would have lost! GURAHAHAHAHAHA!" Yuu sat, sulking, he could never beat Eerie, he could barely even touch him. "Now listen here Yuu, Yuu use up too much chakra, you need to learn self-control. Your old teacher may have taught you to embrace your wild side, but you are not an animal." Eerie said, before sipping his tea. "Yuu, you should learn to accept your basic instincts, the beast within, but you should strive to embrace your natural side, the part of you that is one with nature, one with everything that surrounds us." Eerie said in the tone he used when giving worldly advice, gesturing to the forest, the cliff, and the hot springs they had grown accustomed to. "You have improved much over the past few months, soon a will not have much left to teach you, and I am old, and tired...and-" Eerie was cut short, falling asleep mid-sentence, snoring. |
