| That was really funny! Sadaharu answering the door then chomping Katsura's head was hilarious! Saying she'd be in a processor was funny and calling her ham! LOL!!! He can only be a pirate of coat hanger! that was classic!!! Made me laugh a lot! One Park was hilarious! Katsura was funny too! I can't believe even though Gin was injured he had to carry Kagura and Shinpachi, I suppose he did go out of his way to save them lol. I'm surprised he could carry both at once though. He's so sweet! <3 |

| Meh. "It's funny because it references a thing that exists!" Ugh. Yes, One Piece exists. The fact that One Piece exists and you reference it is not inherently funny. Devoid of humor. At least it showed off slightly more of Gintoki’s backstory. Could have watched a 1 cour show by now. Still waiting for this to be 5 of the 10 greatest anime ever. Series Laughs: 0. Can’t wait until I get 57 episodes into this when this show finally becomes palatable. This truly is 5 of the 10 greatest anime ever. |

| Best episode I've seen so far. I like how Gin talks about his feelings towards Kagura and Shinpachi. He's like a big brother to them and that ending scene of these three are so cute. And the references to One Piece and Naruto are funny. |

| As always, I really enjoyed this episode I honestly couldn't stop laughing when Gintoki kept making statements about how Kimiko had a chance of getting caught up in a ham processing machine and the unlicensed ham processing, I also found it really funny when Kagura was making the Ham jokes as well; I also found Gintoki to be pretty interesting in this episode, especially when he had the nightmare about not being able to protect others, definitely curious to know more about Gintoki's past. I also couldn't stop laughing at the One Piece reference in this episode, makes me wonder if that's how One Piece actually starts 🤔 I also really liked the final scene with Gintoki, Kagura, and Shinpachi, I thought that it was really nice seeing the three together and I really like their relationship; definitely excited to see what's next! |

| when Gintoki described three things he can't stand and is told off about probable bad teenage years, i laughed hard so much in self sarcasm... don't even know why i put this on hold for weeks, it was always very good until this point and probably will always be this strong... sadly, italian dub stopped at episode 49 (i would continue it after, however) |

| well, didn't remember i commented this already but my former self from 13/9/2021 couldn't be aware of how much this show was soon turning to be a 10/10, and now i can add further details about how good this episode is Is the chicken amanto bar tender a anti-humanite? "Move out, extras shouldn't have all this screentime" "Take care of your looks more" how can he? He's just a pair of glasses. Yet another guy that just wants to go home and watch his favorite soap opera, what if it is interrupted again by breaking news about his own crimes? Okita and Hiji know that feeling... "We want to be pirates and search the One Park! Look, i even have a hook instead of a hand" And then he carries home on his back Kagura and a pair of glasses. Sweet. |
