| Good episode, and there goes predicaments of those who insisted that they won't have to balls to kill anyone in this show. Though this ending loss of Kusaragi was really expected as there were death-flags literally all over this episode. As such, the impact was close to none. |

| I still have hope, maybe they will bring her back when introducing the submarine girls next episode XD It is also not fix that the ship girls will sink according to the pacific campaign.the girls only inherit the spirit of old warship, it's not WWII, so nothing is set in stone yet. |

| The flotilla moe finds himself fighting back against the bad guys, a little ugly to say the truth, even though it's going to be all right comes an unexpected turn of events, even if I was not involved that much. I have yet to get a view of the TV series, for now they are quite dissatisfied with how it handled the story, I have to see again all the episodes so far transmitted. |

| Alright, anime deaths aren't new, but it does kind of annoy me when someone dies before they get to do anything (Did Kisaragi even fire any bullets?) or have major plot development It's also probably made a lot worse if the character is attachable :^ |

| That ending was too sad...Fubuki & Mutsuki running to go wait for the four to return not knowing that Kisaragi has sunk... :( I knew there was a death flag raised right after Mutsuki was like "I have to tell you something when this is over..." to Kisaragi before they started the mission... |
| Wow what a twist! It seems they pulled some Zeta scene in the last second! So if a ship has sunk, there's no way to recover them? It seems Kisragi keep saying about never to forget. I'm guessing they can recover her, but her memories might be lost. I like it! Even though they were having fun and enjoying their life, this is a war, things need to be taken very seriously. I'm glad Fubuki now has experience on combat thanks to everyone's help and encouragement. Good stuff, can't wait for the next episode! |

Nope, you can only "remake" them, but it doesn't look like they'll adapt that part of the game. Also nope, that's just her sinking lines in the game, it doesn't have a reference other than Kisaragi being one of the earliest IJN ships to be sunk in WW2. |

| I do not understand the praise people are giving this episode. Holy christ this is probably the worst thing I've seen in a long time. It's like the pooled together all kinds of ideas of how not to kill off a character and then put them all in the show. If the fourth episode wasn't infinitely better than this garbage they passed off for an episode I'd have dropped this like a rock. |

| Oh woah, I did not sign up for a feels trip to W Island when I picked this up. I really thought this was going to be lighthearted and cutesy. It's always sad to see those characters who are overjoyed beyond belief with that grim news lingering over them unknowingly. The end scene was really well executed, the whole "goodbye" lyric really got me and I barely even know these characters. Edit: I'm kind of glad I know nothing about the ship history/game because now I'm going to be completely in the dark as to who else is vulnerable. |

| Kisaragi's death was sad yet predictable. When Mutsuki said to Kisaragi that she wanted to talk to her after the battle, it was obvious that one of them wouldn't make it back home. That was a huge death flag. I liked how they included the sinking in the anime adaptation since it's part of the game. Wait a tick... Ships only can sink if they started a battle heavily damaged. If not, they can't sink. Maybe Kisaragi managed to remain with 1 HP? (I don't think so since she was depicted sinking, but who knows.) |

| This was Fubuki's first mission briefing? In the first episode, was she just thrown into the seas and told just not to get shot? Also, night battle huh? Those things are really evil, but getting attacked by the carriers were just as bad, so it's hard to say which is worse. Besides that, so we're sinking ships 3 episodes in. This anime doesn't explain much, such as how the buckets work, what the fairies are, what the Abyssal ships are, what the ship girls are, and why they're even fighting to begin with. I suppose getting bogged down with explanations would complicate things, but as it is now, there's not much to go off of. We're just to assume that there's a bunch of heavily armed girls in a fleet, whom represent WWII ships, battling monster ships in some fantasy world. That's...essentially the game's plot in a nutshell, but as an anime, it's giving even less information. The nice thing about the anime is the character interactions, which we get only bits of pieces from the game's dialogue. It's still doesn't provide much value though, so it's a question of where the show goes from here. I fear that with Kisaragi sinking, it may potentially nosedive into drama. Given the chipper nature of the first few episodes, I hope the show doesn't try to counterbalance itself with too much crying. |
