Lol, all that service really came out of the blue. |
| I liked the fanservicey portions, except for the parts intended to appeal to masochist otakus. Seriously, Al has no reason to be getting jealous and beating the crap out of Korou, it's not like they have a relationship beyond their working one. I enjoyed seeing her get held down, kissed and groped, but then there was another 'comedic' kick to the groin for the poor hero. Al really annoyed the hell out of me this episode, she was 110% jealous, hyperviolent tsuntsun. The bit with Dagon was kinda interesting but almost entirely skipped over in favor of fanservice and 'comedy'. On tthe other hand, I love the idea of a mecha anime set in the Cthulhu mythos, with all the bizarre connotations that brings. Considering my first exposure to this series was the hentai CG set, I actually expected this series to be a lot more ecchi than it has been so far ... more on par with Queen's Blade or Freezing. 5/5 for setting and fanservice ... 1/5 for Al being on PMS ... split the difference and call it 3/5 |
