 At a recent live drawing demonstration, Yoshitoshi Abe mentioned the revival of the Despera anime project, originally put on hiatus, at around 7:35 of the video. | I've forgotten all about this after assuming it was stuck in purgatory. On top of that, it's been a while since I've heard anything new with regards to ABe. Regardless of how this turns out with a new director, it's a relief to know that it's still kicking. |

There's a column on this site. And additionally, the premise is something like this: The story centers around a 14 year old girl named Ain, who often builds devices despite the lack of scientific background for them. The sci-fi alternative period story is set in Tokyo during the Taishō era in 1922, one year before the 1923 Great Kantō earthquake.
