It says "Sorry, due to licensing limitations, videos are unavailable in your region.". I'm assuming it won't come out in Canada?

Funimation has the license and I think they stream in Canada too. I usually just wait for rips since my ISP is too shitty for Hulu's player.

FBI will also Sub it. Atleast, they will sub the first Episode, and if it isn't ''too much Ecchi'', they will keep subbing it. Atleast, that's what they said.

They dropped it because of Funimation.

Hrmmm... I was hoping to learn something here, but my information is the same as what has been said here already. Will keep looking though, I would like to give this series a shot at least.
Odds are I'm not going to find my way back to a thread after my first post, it happens on occasion but not often. So, if I say something that offends you and you feel the need to force your opinion on me because obviously everyone should have your opinion or none at all, feel free to post it in the thread that I'll probably never see again. However, if you are interested in intelligent discourse, feel free to message me.

Still waiting for subs... (and I was hoping to be able to make a start on my Winter 2015 shows tonight, but that clearly won't be possible as this clearly isn't going to get subbed anytime soon.

Have you checked nyaa? At 19:23 UTC, this file got uploaded: "[PuyaSubs!] Absolute Duo - 01 [720p][75BBF842].mkv" I haven't checked the subs out yet, but I think they're okay.

I looked at that, but those are Spanish subs so are no good for me. Guess I'll just have to wait another few days until English subs eventually arrive.

Hm, that sucks. I guess if it got subbed in Spanish, it'll also get subbed in English pretty soon.

So is CR doing this show or not? Because if HS isn't going to be releasing it then I don't know of anyone that will be.

Confused as to why sub groups pick up shows nobody gives a shit about, but when big name shows from popular LNs come out, nobody thinks that it's a good idea to maybe do those instead?

Apparently, it's available on Crunchyroll, but only in "Europe (except for UK, Ireland, and Scandinavia), the Middle East and North Africa."

HS also releases Funi's stuff IIRC, so as a non-sub, you can get it from them.

Tenses were off in that sub, a few spelling mistakes.

It's nothing amazing but it gets the job done if you can deal with the mistakes.

Good start to the series, from what I know of it so far it could be one of the better series this season.

Interesting note for you guys talking about how Funi translated Tooru as Thor: The pronunciation of "Thor" in Japanese is "Tooru". Take a look for yourselves, if you must- https://www.google.com/webhp?sourceid=chrome-instant&ion=1&espv=2&ie=UTF-8#q=how+do+you+say+thor+in+japanese

so which subs are the closest to the original meaning of the Japanese version?
One starts with media factory, kadokawa and funimation logo and first sentence is translated as "head off Julie's fang" ? what does it mean lol but it got nice video quality
second one starts without logo and translated "Bring Julie down" (Julie ino kiba o tade)

hmm?

EDIT: ok the first one with funimation is not bad but not really accurate
even simple o matase おまたせ is translated as "here you go" and it really is "Thanks for waiting/Sorry to keep you waiting"
if even I can translate so much then the translators did not done a good job.
I will try the other version... but the video quality there is horrible :/

the second sub is also bad ;/ the HRS one
I think they just translated it to be understandable and not accurate to what characters are really saying. For example Kizutsuku means to be hurt/wounded/injured and they did not use any of this word after the battle in talk with Imari thus her saying thank you did not make sense.

Maybe some better groups will take this anime? or I will have to read vn to understand? or manga?

Unfortunately it seems this is another story where manga is (soon will be) behind anime?

btw getting a fast reply in this MAL website its impossible... ;/ sometimes I can't even get an answer for months...

(づ ̄ ³ ̄)づ ちゅっ ちゅっ キス (´。✪ω✪。`)

I hate it when anime/manga that I enjoyed ends, especially when there could be much longer plot and when I love main heroine :P

I wish I had magic glasses that let me see real world in anime colors ;)
