KATANAGATARI
| I saw short video showing a good fight scene from Katanagatari. This made me want to watch it But then when I went to Katanagatari recommendations page in MAL, I saw a crap called Bakemonogatari and Ookami to Koushinryou as the most recommend anime. Both are very boring anime with boring and long dialog and no action. Thats not type of anime I'd like to watch. Is Katanagatari similar to these two boring shit ? The genre is listed as Action and Adventure. Doesn't that make it closer to anime like Akame ga kill, HxH or Chaika ? |
| Katanagatari has...lots of dialogue. The original source (LN) is written by the same author as Bakemono. It's kind of like Chaika, with HxH-strategic battles and not like Akame at all. |

There's more talking than action. As for likable, I guess. But that's up to you. Just give the first episode a try. |

| katana has very short action scenes, they are very well made but they are rather short, since its a dialogue driven anime like bakemonogatari, spice and wolf, guardian of the sacred spirit, tatami galaxy ^^ it goes into this direction and dont call bakemonogatari crap just because it doesnt hit your taste^^ i also didnt like deathnote and i never wrote things lik death note is crap , just that its not very good in my opinion ^^ |

| I watched 1st episode and I think it is not good. Average at most I prefer action anime that has some serious story with real goals and objectives. Like for example, objective in Chaika was to collect body parts and they fight people and rival in their adventure. Katanagatari doesn't seem to have anything similar to that, at least not in the 1st episode. |
| You shuld watch stuff like Naruto, it'll be high-quality for you. |
