| Another likable episode. Besides the sketchy hitch-hiking, it all played out really well, and I liked the cakes at the end. I might have to make an apple cake over the holidays. As for the chocolate cake at the end, it looked like edible glitter was what Chef Watanabe sprayed on the cake. |
| So cool how the roof came off to reveal the mini cake.. though yeh, Cafe was a little too over enthusiastic ^^; Next time is seems like a 'rival', Ojou, has appeared for Kashino's affections.. though he just seems to want to flee! |

| I thought that this was a nice ep. Ringo-chan getting along with her classmates was very heartwarming for me. It doesn't help that she's way too adorable! Fairly good resolution for this episode. The enjoyment of cakes does bring people together. |

Very glad those cheating girls got what was coming to them. Looks like a new character next week. |

| Huh. You know, I think I've decided to marry a patissiere. It's the only way. ;__; Anywho, I think the reason Chocolat has a fork and the others have spoons is maybe because she wanted one? | Lol, the girls almost getting rekt thanks TO FUCKING OLDER SISTER who observes Ichigo researching and designing the cake for Ringo but too bad and I can't blame them because they don't have phones during this time so the struggle is pretty real here. And thankfully the A group is going to modify the older design!!! Definitely going to be a fight against time!! So the birthday cake voluntary has started and seriously the girls, the maximum speed when they were driving was so strong as a speed of light xDDD Lmao it was so predictable that kids are going to go crazy over the cake but as expected by the A-group they definitely did a great job and lmao wait so the Sweet Spirits are visible to one point that these kids can throw in some balls however they like yeah? Also, some laughing in the background is so me rn. Proud that the A-group is able to make the Ringo happy!!!! The roleplaying between Ayu and Ringo was so adorable. Not gonna lie I'm very impressed with Ichigo's overall plan here. Kana, Rumi, and Ichigo, ahh I want to have friends like them too but I don't have any :( The baby feeding Ichigo, so cute :3! Ngl the B-group's action is still unforgivable. When Ichigo cries I cry too because you're proud of yourself to make such delicious cakes that made the kids happy in the end, very natural for the first time indeed ;) |

This is hands down the best episode, and the most wholesome episode of the series. It's kind of tragic in a way because they actually should've sold this episode as the premise. I've watched like 2 ShouJosei shows about cooking, and they both have this reverse harem premise. It's a waste in a show like this, and this episode proves it. The best moments were the girls coming together to help Ichigo bring the cake, and Ringo-chan developing a friendship with Ayu-chan. It's why I'm not a fan of Shoujo anime with a lot of men (Akatsuki no Yona being my only exception). It's much better as a group of girls. Like imagine this group of girls going to cooking school, and all the mishaps that requires them to work together, and exploring their relationships. Instead of a reverse harem thing, it could've been dating for all of them. Three guys and one girl. Or have other male characters that Ichigo's friends could've dated, because having all three date the sweet princes would just be too cliche. Then when the girls get in trouble via baking, they work together to fix it. They also do events for places and brighten the day of others around them, by baking for them. As a matter of fact, just scrap the school concept and bring the grandma back to life. Then have them all train under her and help her with the restaurant. Would've been a much better show. |
