| Freaking awesome sparring between Negi and Kotaro is the main highlight in this one for me *_*, followed by Chachamaru's winding up and Chisame's service scene. Oh wait, this makes it the whole thing. Kotaro, Chisame & Chachamaru in one episode is too much for my fanboyism. I love this OVA series. |

| Hmm is it just me or did the OP changed slightly? They seemed to have added more sparks to Negi's duplex complexio and the scenes from thereafter seems to have more effects Loved the new BGM too. Esp the one when Negi is transferring magical energy to Chachamaru, makes it seem so erotic. And I should mention I love the way Shaft did the scenes, really good adaptation (tentacle scene =D ) |

| Caught it last night. I suddenly feel that the magic arc can't be done justice with 4 OADs without cutting a LOT out. I was able to download a fair amount of the manga last night and just in the first two episodes at least 4 chapters have been used, with a lot to go. And considering this turned into a "find the others" arc with a dozen characters and sub-plots 4 isn't enough. I fear for this arc. |

| Hmm. I'm amazed how little was cut out. They showed almost every section in the manga for these chapters. japzone said: What chapters in the manga correspond to the OVAs? (Note: The First OVA and this one) Episode 1 starts from chapter 184, the moment they arrive in England. Then they rush a few things and it ends in between 189-190 where everyone gets scattered. Episode 2 starts right where they left off. They include pretty much everything ending at 193 where Negi and Kotaro finish fighting. |

| That was a good episode... finally saw it subbed this time... makes me wonder why good anime are always so slow to release... is it because they make it really good or just to tease us? ^_^ |

| Was awesome as I had expected. Chachamaru's scenes were pretty fun to watch, as were Chisame's. Really liked the fight scene between Negi and Kotarou. I would have liked a bit more of Asuna other than a quick scene of her in petrified form that almost killed me when I had originally viewed it in the manga. ;_; But I'm glad that they are sticking to the story, rather switching things up, so that makes up for it. 5 out of 5: Loved it! Naruto is second rate compared to this and I watched it all and read the manga. Truly hope this ova will cover the Negi-Rakan fight will happen. | Moral of this episode?: Don't hang out with IRL friends. I think they should definitely just throw Negi into Rozen Maiden though, I think he'd do very well. |

| i don't know. i really felt like this one was done on a really tight budget. perhaps animating for a tv series might be expensive but i think these ova's aren't really doing this story justice. it sort of leaves you unsatisfied. |
| Um... How exactly do they expect to fit a story arc that is nearly 100 chapters (and may very well be 100 chapters by the end of it all) into 4 episodes?? maybe 5 if you count the movie?? THIS MAKES NO SENSE! I loved the representation of Chisame and Kotorou, very faithful to the manga, and the episode overall was enjoyable, but i still have no clue how they can fit the whole Magic World arc into 4 episodes. I mean, the fight with Raken alone could be an entire episode, and that's way later than where they are now! And why no School Festival/Chao Lingshen arc? That makes no sense lol. Anyway, love the OVA's, even if they are really strange in length. |

Giving that the movie will be at least 1h30 you can't count it as only one episode but yeah that's pretty restricted time. I think that fan are the one who named this arc the ''magical world arc'' As far as I know the arc Ken is talking about may have been over and now we are in another arc like 'save the magical world arc'. Giving that in 2 episode they did not even met Rakan it look like impossible to fit even the important point, I mean they could do a summary but at the pace they are going it won't fit. hellfiredragon said: And why no School Festival/Chao Lingshen arc? | lol at fan service where the character knows its fan service. They seriously didn't put much stuff into this episode. All I noticed was: -Negi gathered 1 person, 1 was there already, and 1 found them. -Negi is fine now (after fight) that is all. This felt like the beginning 10 mins of a typical episode. |

Gathering everyone will be very long, they didn't even gathered everyone in the manga yet even tough they almost have everyone but that took about 100+ chapter to do so=/. |
