| It was announced at the Kinrou Kanshasai 2015 event for the 10th Anniversary that the Garo franchise will be receiving 7 adaptations. These include 3 live action movies, a new live-action TV series, a second season anime series, an anime movie, and a stage musical. More information regarding the second season and anime movie will be announced at a later time. The first season of Garo: Honoo no Kokuin began airing Fall 2014. Anyway nice to see some more Garo news, I was expecting a S2 for the anime since that story is far from over, now way that it would have gotten a satisfying ending with the storypace its having now. And the manga bit was already known but man, 7 ? that's just amazing. Hopefully this will pave the way for more toku shows, especially ones aimed at the somewhat older crowd. | Good news. I've seen bits of the live action as well but the anime has been enjoyable so far so I am definitely looking forward to both season 2 and the new movie. I hope Shingeki no Bahamut gets a similar treatment soon. |

| Quite lavish celebration of the 10th anniversary, I'll go with the anime continuation! *German!...* As for Bahamut, one can make numerous (enticing) stories out of the card characters, I wish they'd think about it seriously and make more seasons (of the same quality). |

Not everything need be about sheer frame counts and flashiness. Sometimes it's nice to have a show that doesn't have to be all up in your grill at all times but rather has a distinct atmosphere, it's own style, and vibe to it that makes all the difference. Garo is one of those shows to me. The soundtrack is also pretty fantastic too which helps a lot. |
