| /insert obligatory "this show is fucking incredible" rant that gets posted every week The fight was incredible. I was thrilled, biting my fist, and cheering for Shinichi the entire time. Poor Maki though. Hopefully we see her again. Uda seems like a bro and I was on the edge of my seat during their quick duel with the parasite that infested Shinichi's mother, 'cause I was almost positive he was going to be the type of character that's introduced at the beginning of the episode and used as plot fodder for the main character by the end. Have I mentioned how cool Shinichi has become? |

| Uda will either turn out to be a surprisingly reliable ally who becomes stronger like Shinichi, or a coward who unintentionally messes up fights and puts Shinichi in danger. We'll see. More Kana Hanazawa please! And let's hope Maki will return again, she was a nice girl. |

| ^Even in context it still looks weird af, if you ask me. Which is awesome. Another great episode, even though I noticed a tiny dip in art quality (not like it matters that much anywayzz). Shin'ichi actually looks pretty damn fine with that old-school combed-back hairdo of his. ps: I'll never say it enough, but I just love the super ominous vibes the previews give off. |

Shinichi looks so fucking badass at the end of this episode So i guess this concludes this arc, kinda gave me an 'Epilogue' vibes, like this is just the beginning or smth xD Definitely looking forward to see where this goes. So far, i Love the setting, really interesting with the Parasytes and the way the author writes the plot and explains stuff, i really like it. The characters, i can see some major developments already, Shinichi is hype, Migi is hype The animation, fluid and consistent, as expected from Madhouse. I did notice a tiny dip in art quality, but nothing to be worried about. Dat soundtrack! During the fight, the one they used felt a bit odd, but other than that, no complaints here, it is amazing. Next week 1 FREAKIN HOUR OF KISEIJUU!!! Why u so hype Madhouse?! | Parasyte just keeps getting better with each episode. The pacing may have been a little too fast early on in the series (although some might have found more exposition boring, I would have liked a little more intellectual discussion of certain body processes in place of action), but now we are getting to see Shinichi become more and more badass as his body is changed by Migi as well as he becomes more and more certain of his goals. He is growing as a character and noticeably looks like more of a brave and experienced adult rather than a frightened child. Along with Shinichi’s changes it seems that females are more attracted to him, possible because of hormonal changes from the Parasyte tissue in his body, in addition to his enhanced physique – making him a more desirable mate.. Migi seems to be becoming more emotional as he says “Sometimes I feel the same way [about not being able to understand human emotions.]” Possibly implying that he can now sometimes relate to Shinichi’s emotions. Later on Migi gives Shinichi a weapon instead of forcing him to run away or stay hidden, saying “Choose your own survival.” Now this could have four implications as far as I am concerned: 1. Migi is starting to feel and cares about him. 2. Migi was saying Shinichi should choose his own survival over that of Uda and Parasite. 3. Migi is worried about Shinichi’s emotionally state (which is connected to both of their survivals) if he were to run, so he gave him the choice to either run or fight. 4. Nothing, Either the true meaning was lost in translation or it was simply a part of the script not meant to mean anything special. I believe number one is the truth here. I wonder if Uda will come to live near Shinichi so they can support each other and fight together. Nothing is mentioned on that subject in this episode, unless I missed it. I am definitely worried about the girl from Shinichi’s school who seems to be able to sense him more and more as he progressively becomes physically inhuman. She could wind up being offed by Migi out of necessity or she could turn them in….there has to be some special alien investigation unit at this point that is working on defeating the parasites, I mean hell, they must show up in blood tests or autopsies or security cameras or something. They can’t stay hidden in the normal population forever, especially with their tendency to be unsympathetic to human emotions. Anyways, heck yeah, this episode rocked! |
| Damn, Shinichi's really looking badass at the end. The OST in the fighting scene was amazing. No time was wasted waiting for this ep! 10/10 |

| Can't really tell since he only said "Yo" but is this change deepening his voice now too? Regardless, I was actually expecting a bit more from the fight, at least more from Madhouse when it comes to fight scenes but none the less, good episode. |

| Found a "half blood" like himself. Found a new ally and looks like Migi and Parasite says the same about humans. Since he has some of Migi's parts, he doesn't need glasses anymore. That is just cool. Reminded me of Spider-Man. Good job in killing that damn monster. Feel sorry for his mom though. This show just keeps getting better and better. More awesome stuff's gonna happen starting next episode! Can't wait! |
