| As usual, not many in the top half that I'm not already familiar with. 魔女は月出づるところに眠る looks worth looking into, though. Interesting seeing Inou-Battle just one rank below AmaBuri, despite the big sales difference between them. |

| No Kyouhora nor Magdala either. ;(. So the most voted by the collaborator are 1) Koukyuu Rakuen Kyoujou - Harem League Baseball (131) -> Ishikawa Hiroshi's new book, interesting 2) Zetsushinkai no Solaris (111) -> never heard about it 3) No game no life (106) -> already reading it. Fun, but not deserving that much as a whole. Although, if they are ONLY rating the 6th volume, then I understand. 4) Oregairu (103) -> reading it. waiting to reach the 9 volume before saying if deserving or not 5) Escape speed (95) -> Heard of it before, but synopsis doesn't sounds very convincing... 6) Toaru Hikuushii no seiyaku (93)->I have the whole koiuta series, can't motivate me to read it after the disapointment that tsuioku was... 6) Kono Koi to...Sono Mirai -> never heard about it So... I guess I should check one and two, as well as some others again. Although #1 has "baseball" in its name, this sounds not for me right from the start. I have bad experience with baseball themed LN/Short stories. I don't know if I should take it or not, really. EDIT : That solaris is "horror/Science fi on mal. Could it be, this one maybe... Worth checking...hmm...A fter checking a few review, doesn't seems half bad. But, far from excellent as well? It's only one volume, so I may be interested in buying this one. Will check the remaining series. |

| Not really, looking at the reviews, it's a standard creature from the depth of the sea horror for the horror part. That city is sinking in the depth of sea. Except for the characters freely dying, doesn't sounds to have anything in common with madoka. Image is nice. |

| I'm disappointed in the fact that Misaki lost to Index. >:( HOW? I mean, the most recent novel was amazing! Focused around Misaki, and it cleared so much! Othinus getting 4th place for her first try on the rankings is phenomenal, lol. |
| That top 10 with 4 index char 3 oregairu and 2 SAO. People voting really needs to read more stuff before voting. As a poll based on thousands of character eligibles, having that kind of result just means that this poll has no relevant meaning. rather than a "best character", we could rename it "best character between Index, SAO and Oregairu " and the result would almost not change. The only good thing this year about character polls is the fact that Misaka isn't winning. Not that I don't like Misaka, but she already won so many times that this was just boring. |

| Any favourite character list will always turn into a case of "most popular characters in the handful of super-popular series". People who only read a few things tend to go for the same few series as one another, thus concentrating the vote far more than you would expect, and the votes by the people who read a lot will get so spread out that any one character, however liked, is only going to get a tiny handful of votes and thus stand no chance of getting on the rankings. MAL's character favourites rank suffers from the same problems. |

| Seems like I'm far from being alone to look at the colaborator's votes to pick new LN. The top 2 of them (Koukyuu Rakuen Kyoujou - Harem League Baseball and Zetsushinkai no Solaris ) are completely out of stock on amazon even though they had plenty of it when the ranking were released. Guess this had some effect. I was considering buying them but no can do, oh well. |

| well, last year it was 60/60, so dropping even from one rank was enough to get out for Horizon. Even though this ranking is supposed to be about volume published during this year only when voting ( that's why I can agree about NGNL's rank for example), and that KyouHora's volumes published this year were awesome, can't really help it. It's very popular, but it looks like the fans aren't especially caring about this poll anymore. |
