It seems that the subs mistook Church for Mages Association(ironically the opposite of what happened in Kaleid).Or was it like this in the VN as well? Rin has boobs now?(the scene just before she uses her Command Seal).LOL Lancer's Beast face was awesome.No words for the fight. Gae Bolg awesomeness. Diarmuid who? Loved Archer's reaction to Saber.And I wonder if anyone will notice the detail about the pendant. |

| Damn, that fight was awe-inspiring. So freaking well animated. This felt more like movie quality and not a TV series. Really liked it. And while there were a few scenes where Rin did look a little weird, I still love her new design. Now that I'm in the mood I'll go and continue reading HF. |

| Yes yes yes! Ufotable really nailed the Lancer vs Archer fight, Archer entrance was perfect as well. The 2 key elements i was looking forward to in the intro episode were done perfectly, ufotable, please. |

Rin's rooftop escape was imo the most epic part, though of course the fight was great too. The soundtrack is a re-imagined F/SN and F/Z all together. This is a really nice decision. I feared that if f/z themes would be left out the series' atmosphere wouldn't feel as well connected to the prequel. But they sure nailed it. The entirety of the first episode gave me a lethal brain orgasm. I was on the verge of dying from astonishment. |

| That was a good episode. The fight between Lancer and Archer was fine as hell. I'm glad they took the 45 minute approach. It allowed them to really set the ground work properly. Also, that's some nice animation, but no amount of nice animation will fix the ugly nature of the school uniforms. They were ugly in the VN, but I think they might be worse now that they have some actual depth to them. Well, I'll be looking forward to Ep 1. |
