 Five months after the announcement that one of Claris' duo, Alice, will graduate from the J-pop idol unit to focus on her studies, the nineteenth volume of LisAni! magazine announced a new member. Karen, who is also an active high schooler like Clara, will replace Alice.On January 7th, ClariS will release their eleventh single, "border," which will be Tsukimonogatari's ending theme. It was also announced that the new ClariS will make an appearance at the LisAni Live-5 Music Festival, along with Kalafina, KOTOKO, ZAQ, fripside, Suzuko Mimori, and LiSA. | I'd have preferred a name change. When bands change members, it's normally fine since band names mostly aren't based on the names of the members themselves...the ones I like anyway. This is like if Dave Matthews left Dave Matthews Band. The new duo sounds good, though. |

| Hell yeah, ClariS is back! And I would be kinda sad if they change the name. ClariS is an awesome name and part of reason I love(d) this duo. ClareN doesn't even reach close to it. I do like Karen's voice, it's very mature. I am gonna miss Alice's warm tone A LOT. Hope she comes back and join these two later when she will be done with her studies. |
