After today's episode's remark by Mira that Tigre doesn't stand a chance of winning, I started wondering. So, a question to the novel readers, is there a clear power ranking among the War Maidens? Or are they all roughly of the same power level? How well would Ellen fare in a 1v1 against Mira? Spoiler tag if necessary.

What about Sofy? Somehow I felt that she is more powerful than Ellen and Mira :)

There's no formal ranking and we haven't seen all the Vanadis fight but from what we've been shown in the novels rankings would be something like this.

Thanks for the explanation! Interestingly, five out of seven Vanadis have Russian names: Sasha, Elizavetta, Olga, Valentina, Ludmila.

I kind of disagreed about Olga part, she's shown to be the strongest in term of strength of all Vanadis since her viralt required a lot of muscle to handle, and Ellen often being cornered when facing an enemy which dealt heavy blow

In term of indestructible Viralt should be pretty much equal with Durandal so Ellen should be troubled when fighting Olga, although not as troubled when fighting Roland.
Also Sasha is too OP!

EDIT : Also if I remember correctly Ellen and Mira should be afraid of Sophie right? something like she's scary when angered and her Viralt power is mainly for crushing bone and flatten people, but Sophie is never seen to use her power except for defense in the story so fa, so like Valentina her strength ranking is still open for debate
