A bit generic but the soundtrack was godly. The OP song was good too. Overall, it felt like a lot of stuff happened during the first episode. That girl reminds me of Cagili somewhat. The princess looks nice I guess. Some of the unorthodox concepts reminds me of Horizon in the Middle of Nowhere and Gundam SEED. Oh boy, that got controversial fast at the end. Wow... |

| The Misurugi Empire are dicks and most of the court needs to die. That procedure could've been done in a way that it wouldn't seem like anal fisting, but there won't be anymore of that in future episodes so there's that. The ending is a bit of a signal this could get rather ecchi in it's entirety as well. |

I can't tell if that's just the most obvious reference ever or the laziest but it doesn't exactly give me the feeling of promise considering I don't particularly care for what it's associated with. Then again my expectations for this one aren't realistically high to begin with at all really and I'm kind of expecting something like a Sora Kake Girl meets Mai Hime....with now apparently a touch of Gundam Seed. |

| This is going to be fun to watch,especially after that ending. Seems like this is next Valvrave,not solely because of the "rape" part but the designs,characters and everything in this remind me of what made Valvrave very enjoyable trainwreck worth watching. "We have to rebuild the tainted royal family.Just the two of us..." Sister complex much,lol. Also guessing Jesus Yamato lookalike is going to be the only male Norma in existent in the series. |

| 97 percent of cast seem to be female , that alone is a turn off for me , nothing against female characters but when its nothing but female characters for the sake of fan pandering/fan service then I can pretty much tell its a show that wont have much depth or something to take seriously, I'll keep watching though for now |

| I just watched this on crunchyroll, and the audio was pretty wonky. Anyways, another crappy first episode for this season eh. Ange is terrible dumb bitch type of princess character = dislike. Not digging the environment or plot very much. Another one for the potential garbage list this season, which is growing quite large |

| I really enjoyed this first episode and I'm looking forward to the series as whole. Oddly enough I found Ange to be sympathetic even though her actions were deplorable. Which is odd because I hated characters like Rayet from Aldnoah and Minami from TokyoESP. You know characters that the author wants you to sympathize with even there actions are horrid and the justification for their actions is incredibly forced. Ange is raised in a society filled with racists and acts accordingly based upon the way that she was raised. Don't get me wrong, the baby scene was incredibly fucked and everyone involved in that scene acted like a complete monster. However, having your mother butchered in front of you, your brother betray you, the entire kingdom reviling you as a monster and undergoing horrible treatment in prison tends to earn you some pity points in my book. Plus it seems like this show wants to develop her into a likeable character but that remains to be seen. I loved the OST and both the opening and ending were stellar. The world was bleak and I was in no way prepared for how fucked up the anime would get. I will admit, I felt uncomfortable at last scene and that was what I think the author's intention was. So this one is a keeper for me. |

| that got pretty dark. people without mana are treated as monsters and are trash, the prison scene at the end. regarding the scene at the end. in the beginning battle the characters have a plug and chord on their lower spine so i guess it is related to that like the character design even if it is probably gonna be an ecchi fest. akiko shikata doing the ost HUGE PLUS animation of the battle in the beginning was decent seems good so far |

| TRAINWRECK ALERT. The show is about Tits & Ass. The writing is even more laughable than Aldnoah.Zero's. I also hate the flashy colors. What is this? Disneyland? And the death scene in the first episode. Oh my god the death scene. It was so bad it rendered me speechless "b-but it's totally about how Norma are treated unfairly and it's about survival and standing up for equality " Haha no. Who are you kidding? It's about selling hug pillows and overpriced figurines of barely clothed girls. Pathetic. Also has that princess girl never tried to use that mana magic herself? within fking 16 years there must have been a point where she was alone in her room and tried to use mana... oh god... |

| I never watched Gundam Seed, my cousins watched it on tv and I glanced at it once in a while but when I saw the opening I was like "wait that's from Gundam Seed." Yikes XD! Ange seriously pissed me off when she was like "have another kid that isn't a norma" *I'm so naive, LOL at your suffering troll pose* It was so satisfying to see her world shatter. |

| Sunrise sure didn't pulled any punches in that one. Segregation sucks. On a side-note: I streamed the episode, nearly all of the dialogue was on the left channel and the BGM on the right. Has anyone else experienced that? |
