None of those shows are good, so I guess they fucked up all the time.

Since I've joined this site I've notice a pattern repeating over and over again every season and anytime someone with "a big mouth" finishes a series. It's getting boring since there is a pattern I notice anywhere and rarely something change , when something changes everynow and then I call them miracles. Even at work there is a pattern and I , sometimes , unknowingly , follow it.

I dont know the details but yeah the last episode , especially the last few minutes , seemed confusing and it felt like they skipped alot of material between episodes and especially in the last one . But I did enjoy it and it is the ONLY anime where the characters I wanted to hook up , hooked up.

P.S: It is perfectly normal to be picky and have standards but the only one to blame of something , in the first place , is yourself since it is you who decided watching it.
"Love is a drug to our brain , it stops the thinking function and when you realize it wether you acomplish it or not you'll enter in one of the 3 withdrawal states : happy , sad or anger. Once this drug gets hold of you you'd better be prepaired beforehand." - Me

Aesthetically they are so far from done, they make absolutely beautiful fucking anime.
A guide to living with that one guys ugly signature on MAL.

1. See that SullyNathan has posted last in thread, abort thread.
2. After clicking quick reply, close eyes and type out reply.
3. Try to scroll as far down as possible before replying if you prefer to keep your eyes open.
4. Report said signature for being offensive to the eyes.
5. See he is active in thread, scroll through thread while trying not to have eyes burned, sigh, click back & lose interest.
6. Move to another part of MAL forums where he does not visit.
MAL Jesus where are you?

PA Works peaked with Hanasaku Iroha and nothing before or since has ever been or will ever be quite as good.

Except maybe Uchoten Kazoku. I haven't seen that one.

But Glasslip was really bad. Like, unbelievably bad. As in, it makes Studio DEEN anime look good levels of bad.

Hanasaku Iroha is the only work by PA works that really has the potential to be a classic, the rest of what they done has been so-so outside of scenery porn.

I will always love PA Works for their art and great choice in music, and they did a splendid job with those two in Glasslip.
Although the story was very bad, with explanation from a friend, I understood it better. I just think this anime will be that "one bad anime" for PA Works.. although I hear RDG was bad.

Nah, it didn't fuck with my mentality regarding PA works. I really liked Nagi no Asukara ( especially the first part of the series).
Plus every good studio has at least one fucked up series. I used to believe that MadHouse could do nothing wrong ( opinion further reinforced by their recent adaptation of Hunter x Hunter). Until I watched this series : http://myanimelist.net/anime/470/Okusama_wa_Joshikousei_%28TV%29

It's on the same level of blandness as Glass Lip. That doesn't mean that I'll give up on watching their series when the majority of the things they produced were high quality. It only proves that judging a show's worth solely on the reputation of the studio that produces it, it's not a good decision.

Don't talk to me about character development if Kaizuka Inaho or Slaine Troyard are in your favorites.

Look at people throwing their opinions around like fact, pffft.

From the OP list, I found True Tears, Nagi, Hanasaku Iroha, to be quite good, especially True Tears.

I don't particular see the studio having big hit commercially, so I don't think Glasslip being bad in terms of quality, matters.

The only other show I watched from P.A. Works is Angel Beats! I really liked it, but I wish it was longer (I already know the story with that).

So for me, I haven't seen enough shows from P.A. to form that kind of opinion.

Nah RDG wasn't bad at all. Its first half was very interesting but then it kinda got boring. Still, overall a good show.
I absolutely love P.A. Works, everything made by them is instant love. Too bad, Glasslip couldn't live up to our expectations.

It's too bad that Uchouten Kazoku wasn't popular even though it was so good.

Anyway, I actually liked Glasslip. It wasn't that good, but I still enjoyed it. :3

PA Works has NEVER made a great title ever since they started doing anime, the closest they came was with Nagi no Asukara but even that was butchered with childish one sided romances and underwhelming and undeveloped characters.

Uchouten Kazoku has already been mentioned a few times in this thread, but please, don't let that get in the way of your warpath.

It definitely lowered my expectation for them. I've been a fan of P.A. Works, but even I'll admit that a lot of their recent shows have been very average at best (and that's putting it lightly).

NagiAsu is definitely great... for children. It's nothing but an aperitive for those that just want to watch anything at all.
