Normally what they do is that they show it first in a huge station with a lot of watchers, than later they put it in a cable channel, where probably you have to pay a subscription fee, that doesn't have any censors, than later(or before the Cable TV, it depends) they release the BDs and DVDs where you can watch all the time without censors. |

| Because anime is so diverse as a medium, I approach every series with a different set of judging criteria. I can understand if characters are important in a SOL show, but for this one? Forget the characters, I just want to see some action and see dramatic events transpire. That's it. So far, it's delivering. |

| Opening is pretty cool. I'm trying my best to look past the censoring and enjoy it. I can imagine most people dropped this simply from their experience with the likes of Tokyo Ghoul, I didn't bother with that so I guess I'm not as affected lol :D |

| Hmm, I'm a little bit disappointed by the creatures to be honest, as a lover of all vicious looking creatures from Shingeki and Alien to Resident Evil, this lets me down quite a bit. Even without the censoring I don't think these cock-men look scary at all. Immediately comparing it with Muv-Luv which also has a lot of censoring but still managed to creep the shit outta me. |
| I liked the OP and the song. Don't really mind the censoring since I don't like gore anyways. I can take it in the manga, but not sure if it would take more time to get used to if it was animated. The shower scene was still creepy anyways. But wtf, are they really not going to do Marcos and Alex's back story? :( Or maybe they're still leaving it for later...probably not huh. And that washed out color palette, can't even call it pale because it looks so colorless lol. It's not terrible or anything, but it feels like I'm watching a flashback or something. Good way to end the episode though, with all that chaos and the mission being a fail before it really even got started. Them Mars cockroaches are smart for rampaging the storage room. |

| I am really trying to enjoy it and I probably would if it wasn't for the censoring, another episode will decide if I drop it or not. The shower scene was pretty good and creepy, sort of expected it to be suicide though. |
| Killing off people just for shock value, this is a very bad trend that has been going on in anime after the AOT boom that happend last year: Tokyo ghoul, akame ga kill and now Terra formars try to emulate AOT but fail so much. Terra formars is the worst example: average animation, average soundtrack, the gore is just there for shock value, the characters are so forgetable i just don't remmember any of there names even the main characters are forgettable, the story is the only good thing about the show. The only reason i see for people to watch this show is if there are fan of the manga or they are intrested in the story but everything else is low quality even the action the way they animated it's very stiff and just low budget well no one expected Linden studio to do good animation but this series has to have good animation and music because without that the show losses a lot of the shock value and atmosphere. AOT, tokyo ghoul, Akame ga kill and Gen Urobuchi shows have a big budget and most of them have great music, animation and directing that made the shock value work and made the show be a lot more entertaining to watch even though the show dosen't have good characters and good story. |
| This is legit the shittiest anime I've seen yet. I've never felt so disengaged watching an episode. I could not get myself to even be a tiny bit immersed. First anime dropped. |

| Wow just Wow terrible pacing and just a lackluster attempt to make theses characters look good then they just kill them off not even within 3 episodes in this is getting terrible i'm hoping that this turns around if not then this show will have a very low rating. |

Its like the only comparison I see on here. I personally felt like this episode started off boring, but got pretty good after a little time passed, but the censoring is still really bad. |

| It's a shame Hiroshi Hamasaki has been doing lame shows lately. He's better than this. I'll watch a few more episodes, but it's doing nothing for me so far. I didn't care about anything that happened in this episode. And what the hell are "positive boobs?" |
| Like a few others have said about the censorship, you can still tell what's happening but I feel it just takes away from the immersion. Not sure if I'm gonna keep watching or just wait til BDs come out. |
| Things are okay until now, nothing except but the op song, but... This show has something that keeps me watching. I mean, it's about some fucking humans with super powers who fight super cockroaches to get some samples for an over deadly virus, and it's cliché but just badass in some weird way |

| This one's on hold. Waiting for the Blu-Ray so that half the screen won't be censored off. I have no idea why Akame ga Kill is able to get away with the levels of blood and gore that they do when most anime these days are censored all to hell. I'm guessing it's either: a) Different TV stations have different policies, or b) Studios trying to keep the violence porn covered up to encourage more people to buy the Blu-Rays. |

| Im so annoyed by the censorship, this anime is literally about the gore, creating a psychological fear-fest. When the gruesome scenes are blacked out what is their left? I mean with censors all you know is "the bugs are on the ship, they killed people", without them you would have scene the way the bugs massacred the inhabitants. I mean, that one that killed the guy with the gun used his spine as a sword |

First 15 minutes of the show this was my facial expression [spoiler]  Then shit hit the fan, even when the screen was half black, I was still freaked out, my facial reaction I really don't know why this is rated so freaking low, yea the censoring is a pain, but to a 6.99?
