| Okay so two things. I've been planning to start doing Topic of the week. Another club I'm in is doing it and I think it's a good idea to incorporate some more discussions to the club. I've only participated once in the other club, but it's worked well. The club is considerably less active than us though so it might work better here. Since it's an anime guild, I'll keep the topics anime related, but I'd greatly appreciate input for topics on this one. Unless anyone opposes this, I'll start doing this. Secondly, I think Spiffy but maybe Fel had an idea about doing anime of the 2 weeks/four weeks where we basically watch an 12 episode series in 2 weeks as a guild and discuss about it. I think that was the idea, and I'm for it. I guess we could decide the series the way we do SotW, otherwise I could pick a genre and a few amounts of titles for said genre and then hold a vote on it. This would not take a lot of work, and we'd get a various amount of genres and titles this way. Thoughts? If I missed anything or misunderstood your guys ideas, Fel and Spiffy feel free to add anything. |

| My idea idea was to set a date, and in that day create a topic so we can discuss an anime. I tought of this because some people cant be in the simulwatch everytime, not everyone know of the somulwatch (new people are entering the club and become more active now) and this way is easy, since you can elaborate more your toughts and argue at your own pace since you are gonna have time. At the beggining i tought simply "pick an anime and a date every two or so weeks". no need to be a show that no one watched, even if you saw it long ago would be okey to post your opinions on it but it would be nice to rewatch if its a really long time. The way we chose the show i was thinking of vote, but since we are doing it for simulwatch maybe we could choose a person and he/she picks the anime and we watch. This "forced" way could be better to get more different opinions on different genres, since i belive that not everyone like all kinds of stuff. I agree with Spiffy on the Topic of the Week, some people might get really salty. But the topics you suggested such as "What got you into anime" would fit the topic of the week fine, dont they? |

My thinking is basically to go along the Genre List, skipping a few genres (the 18+ one's) but taking the rest in order and one person decides on a title, and that title it is. (No longer than 2 cour, doesn't matter if they're separate entries. No Sequels, and no OVA's or other bullshit.) |

If I don't come up with anything better before I get home, I will probably spin a question based off sexism/feminism and anime, but otherwise I might do something else. | Some thoughts/stuff: I posted a new Topic of the Week. Was going to do sexism/feminism this week but I want to take the time to properly formulate an OP for it, so I decided to instead do it next week (hopefully). I could use input on what questions to ask in the OP etc. We should retire the anime of the month idea since no one uses it, especially if no one responds before the time is over. We should announce it in said thread though in case people planned on using it, but just didn't want to watch Katanagatari. We should change "【Discuss anime,manga,and games】Just a club for people to hang out and talk about what they like. Why don't you join?【We also do Skype chats every so often】" into 【Discuss anime, manga, and games】Just a club for people to hang out and talk about what they like. Why don't you join? We also have a Skype group / have an active Skype group. We should go public if we plan on accepting everyone anyways. Being private = more work. We should add some information in the "Introductions" thread related to the guild that could be useful to new members. We should update the profile picture since it's no longer halloween. 4 of our admins (me, BlueHood, thanna and Spiffytease) is behind the idea of changing it into some variant of Smug Madoka. We should also update our layout on the main page. I'd love a button that links to the plug.dj room on the new one. Maybe something more, like topic of the week. We should also change the color when doing this. Andrew please let me know if you are interested in doing this. You are as far as I know the most talented of the officers with this stuff. We should look over our anime/manga/character relations. I'd love if we could work together to create some kind of 'official recommendations' list (from the officers) otherwise we could just redo it from the scratch with a few shows each since we now have a lot of more officers. We should resize our banners and our crest to smaller sizes. As of now, they feel awkward in size to use, and are not fitting for signatures or the like (but still leave both sizes available. We could also do member cards. I've seen it requested like once, but it might be good. I could maybe do this if needed. We should change "C-C-B-H-B" into Crest/Banners. Right now it looks weird and we only got a crest and banner otherwise. We should also only have it in one spoiler tag, not two. I did minor changes to the display page, such as changing formatting or grammar to look a bit smoother. I also updated the simulwatch notice. I probably forgot something. But anyways, thoughts? | Agreed on giving up Anime of the Month. You can't incite people to watch a show just by creating a thread. So removing the brackets? I don't see why not. No opinion on going public or not. I'll let you guys decide. Don't know if there's a lot of people in the plug.dj room, but if so, then it's a good idea to put the link (and even then, it's good to attract new people.)
