I loved eps 1-3, but the animation in ep 4 made me want to quit...thank god ep 5 is back to normal~ Aside from the fucked up animation, the story didn't satisfy me~ the pink balls were kinda stupid...and as a side note, all of the animals look retarded (referring to ep 3...it was like a hippopotamus bearing back-nuggets...) |

| I face palm more than anything else in this episode... Some part are just terrible, while others are soo bad it's funny. The show's very mindless at best so far. The Boota thing is just wrong... 4 episodes in, and I still fail to see why Kamina's so popular. |

| For all the flak this episode has gotten, I have to say it remains as one of my favorite episodes. Sure, the animation is a little dodgy in some places compared to the rest of the series, but there's a lot of ideas in this episode that just weren't taken any further for the rest of the series. Other combining gunmen, or actually any other characterized gunmen pilots (apart from the Four Generals, Viral and the bathhouse lady of course), Leeron's spider robots, one cool gattai transformation scene per episode... |
| I...Enjoyed this episodes art style. It was different. But that didn't make it bad. What made it bad was the five or six recycled scenes. But that can be excused, because of how much I enjoyed the art. Also. Eating your pet. Respect for the cutesty anime pet companion..up! |

| Not as good as the first 3 (especially episode 2) but still a fun watch. Kamina slapping away Simon's mech never got boring lol. Also, I guess this Kittan guy is going to be a factor in this show now. I still don't understand the main plot; all I see is humans vs beasts in random places. Hopefully we get an insight on the real story soon. I'm literally only watching this show for KAMINA right now. Although Yoko is a factor as well. ^^ |

Wow fortunately I had a warning concerning the "new" art style of this episode, but it was really ugly. Not fitting at all for the characters. Ok for the mecha and battles but for characters it looked really horrible. What a disapointment. The story in itself wasn't too bad though. |

| I love that this anime doesn't take itself too seriously... It's just so full of manly epicness! I was wondering whether this was a serious or a comedic series, but now i found out it's both! Which to me is the best kind of anime ;D When you think anime, you should think Gurren Lagann. It encapsulates everything that makes anime so fun to watch! By the way, am i the only who thinks that Kamina sounds an awful lot like Hijikata Toshi from Gintama? I was so sure it was the same voice actor but apparently it's not...lol |
