| "Herz" is the German word for "heart" apparently... Anyways, this should be fun. I'm hoping to see in this season since he didn't really make an appearance yet. I'm guessing this will probably be another 10 episodes though. |

| I was hopping this season 2 of Fate/Kaleid Liner was going to be 24 episode... not 10 again... When i saw at the end it was starting to sound like a end of the season, i was crying... Damn, i hope it will not be summer 2015... |

| Looking forward to it! I'm actually fine with them doing 10 episodes per season, it keeps up the animation quality quite nicely. |

I highly doubt it, after two seasons they will continue the formula of 10 episodes + 1 OVA included with the latest manga tankoubon and five specials in the DVD/BD release about five minutes each (which amounts to about one extra episode). The real question is whether 2wei Herz discs sales will be good enough for the producers to consider making 3rei; which probably would have to be animated in one go since I do not see any nice "progress saving point" like 2wei had. |

Before the last episode of the season is shown they have to make the decision of whether they continue or end the series. On the first season they could have omitted the scene that showed Bazett arriving to Japan and ended it on a note of "Friendship trumps all obstacles". On season two they could have omitted mention of the 8th card (leaving to the viewer on the dark about what the strange map Rin made really means) and ended it on a note of "Illya got her (ab)normal life back". On the third season they can and end the series with a "Wasn't that awesome!" note. But if they start 3rei and again they do only 10 episodes, there is no place where they can nicely end the series without a botched awful anime original ending. Of course I am a viewer and want the anime production committee to continue until the end, but remember they usually have aversion to risks. Maybe the best solution would be to make a movie (or a series of movies) with 3rei, but that would depend on how successful herz and heaven's feel is. No studio in the world has the budget to animate 3rei in one go. Remember that if we 3rei gets to be animated it will probably be in two years (2016) and it is clear to me that one of the reasons this series was successfully animated is due to the advances in computer generated imagery, every year the quality keeps improving without bloating the budgets. |

That only applies to first season that bothered to remove foreshadowings. Even if the 8th card stuff is removed from 2wei there are still thousands of unresolved plotlines left that they foreshadowed. Like the very fact that Also nope. Budgeting works in ver speciffic way. Progress of technology can raise the bar but not lessen the budger requirements. The split 10 episode season stuff they are doing is exactly because of that. |
