Claire Rouge is so annoying.

I don't dislike this anime, I enjoy it. Kamito is cool with darkness and light but Claire just ruins for me. Her tsundere is off the chart and her jealousy ruin the mood. Some one compliment Kamito? He get attacked, he talk with someone? Attacked. One hug? Attacked. Her back story isn't even tragic. A royal princess loses her sister( just mia ) and her formality and it's a tradegy for her. Can someone tell me if she get better in the novel because she just piss me off. I really like this anime, I do.. But I just can't stand her.

Claire is't so bad as you put it, there are worse out there...

As of 27/7/14 I have decided trap anime Sword Art Online II has more appeal than Mahouka.

You know, I don't remember her being annoying in the early stages of the LN but, you're right, she is really annoying in the anime. But her character does progress over time and she becomes a way better character. And, like fear80 put it: there are way worse out there

If she's annoying then all the other tsunderes in this show are annoying as well. They're just as aggressive n bitchy as her.

I just find Zero no Tsukaima and I hated Louise so much and I also felt like the whole show was trash and same with all the characters in the show. Then I watched this a day later and Claire rouge might be an even worst 🍭 tsundere. They both abuse the shit out of the main characters because the author put the mcs in these situations Rouge -(Hentaiiiiiii) every damn time. He also way more asexual then the guy from Grimoire of zero but he's an unlucky bastard. I also think that's its iirronic and illogical that Claire keeps on calling other girls a bitch when she is always the one being a bitch. Plus her back story is shit. I also hated that she keeps on pulling the Master/Slave relationship even more than Louise. Glad I am not enjoying this show because if I was I would be a masochistic lollicon.

I dropped Zero no Tsukaima because of this and I just finished Seirei tsukai no blade dance. I agree about Claire Rouge as well, there are other tsunderes but Claire screams too much, complain too much, abused the mc a lot, not to mention her problem is that she never listen first to what is happening. She had some cute moments tough, but I hope that if there is a second season she changes because otherwise it will be really annoying. "The violent tsundere" makes the whole story even more weird. Tsundere in real life exists, ofc, but to the point of using a whip everytime the boy wants to speak.... even if it is in a fantasy world, they could try to be more realistic in relationships...
