According to the upcoming October issue of Jump SQ magazine, the "grand conclusion" of manga Claymore will be published in the November issue of the magazine, to be released on October 4th. It is unclear if this refers to the start of the final arc or the concluding chapter of the series.

Yagi Norihiro's manga began publishing in 2001 and was adapted to a TV anime in 2007.

I have yet to read Claymore, but now hearing it may be finishing soon, I am interested in starting it.
A lot of manga appear to be ending soon... especially the longer series.

I really hope it's not the final chapter. If it is, that means they won't be headed to the main land, which in turn means there'll be a ton of unanswered questions. If he made a Claymore II as a result though, I wouldn't complain.

But I've honestly stopped caring all that much! ;__; My crack pairing was destroyed a few months ago. So sad.

I'm actually sad since I've enjoyed the manga or at least most of it. Season 2 when?

It's already ending? I'm going to miss this series a lot. I want to start picking up the manga from where I left off but I kinda want to wait before the series is finished so I can marathon it.

With the way they ended the first season it isn't likely though :( That said, a lot of anime are getting remakes so maybe Claymore will get one too!

No, don't read the manga until it is fully complete. I've learned that news like this are usually misleading. Look at Vagabond, that was supposed to end 4 years ago and it is still running.
Even when I was in crowd, I was always alone

I do hope. I didn't read the manga but from what I've seen from the 1st anime this anime is one of the best action anime I've seen (even better than attack on titan). I'm starting to get bored of all these childish school action anime that we get every season.

What Volume do you guys think it will end?
I ask because I currently own volumes 10-24 and would like to know how many more I'd have to buy.

That's what I'm thinking as well. I'll sadly have to drop the score if that's the case.

Considering the EPIC development in the last 3-5 chapters it was to be expected.

they really should do a complete remake of the anime with the complete story and the true ending and not something they made up bc it had to end there.

This is so disappointing.

The only thing that had me going through the current trainwreck of the arc was HOPE that the next arc would be great with them

But nope. It seems that the
"story" arc is indeed the last.

Oh well, potential wasted.

Claymore will end with a bunch of nonsensical dbz shenanigans and absolutely no questions answered. Might as well have
so I can puke from the writing even more.

they can't due to last few episodes being anime-original bullshit.

You could jump into the anime first and then the manga at around chapter 58 or so. I've on the series ever since the Pieta arc.

That's a shame. It's already been revealed there's something much bigger out there so to end it here is questionable. Then again, the manga is monthly so expanding the story would probably take another 10+ years.

Good to end it on a high note I guess. Not putting any hopes on a second season since they'd either have to reboot it like FMA Brotherhood or have the first ep completely redo the ending of the first season ( better imo )

"The high note" moment passed a good few years ago. Now its "how far can we reach bottom" note with occasional wondering whether there's a bottom to reach.

I hope it is the final arc and not last chapter. I love this manga and i don't think it has gone downhill outside of this final battle lasting too longs. Also i want to see the mainland arc really bad

When I saw Claymore in the news I hoped for a 2nd season, but oh well. Its about time this anime gets a conclusion. The last dozen chapters were disapointing imo. I find it unlikely, but a new arc (or sequel? side story?) with the other plot that was mentioned 50 chapters ago would be nice, but that would drag on for ages, no pun intended.

Doubt there will be a season two unless they do a reboot of season one. The ending of season one strayed very far from the original content if i remember correctly.

The manga has been dragging for a while now. It pretty much lost all the momentum in the story that it had and went into boring repetitive elements....Being monthly and only about 30 pages is not helping the cause.
bla bla bla
The endless debate between fans and haters. At one point, after spending a lot of time on MAL, you just realize it's totally pointless.
