How is the English dub?

There wasn't any other thread regarding this, so I guess I will have to ask here.

Is the dub quality up there with that with "Black Lagoon" and "Highschool of the Dead" or is the Japanese dub a better choice?

Also, there is only one version of the English dub, right?
I am assuming that the FUNimation re-release on Blue-ray in 2011 is simply using the Synch-Point dub that was released on DVD in 2007.

The dub is actually surprisingly solid. Some of the voices in the dub actually sound a lot like their Japanese counterparts. I actually switched from english to japanese every other episode, and it was kinda the same to me. So yeah
