This is like 'all Japan' think like this or just 'people asked on street', 'people who voted via poll on site' etc voted on these characters. Why created Slaine's figures, when they should create Inaho since he is more popular referring to NewType ranking? Who cares that yaoi/girls like Slaine? | I hated everything about Slaine after season one, thought he was one of the worst characters in anme. However in season 2 he has been a much more interesting character than robotic lifeless Inaho. |

That said Slaine is also an interesting character. I really hate irrational, annoying, loud, brash main characters, so Inaho was a huge relief. I didn't have to listen to gasping and yelling all the time or want to smack him for his stupid, illogical actions. But on the logical actions front, Inaho was a bit too perfect. I wanted him to lose once, preferrably more. He's a teenager who was never drafted until the war broke out. He's smart, but how dumb are the adults who have been doing this much longer? Or the Orbital Knights in their Kats that are much, much stronger? It bothered me a little, but Slaine was a lot less likeable to me, even though I don't dislike him as a character. Inaho just appeals more to me. So I chose they're both awesome because they both have qualities I can admire. |
| I'd say Slaine, he's at least somewhat believable (considering the nonsense of the series), whereas Inaho is an empty character. |
