If they show it in an OVA it's cool. They don't have to animate every interlude and/or bonus chapter. |

| Wow, an episode with several bathing scenes, and yet Shirou did not barge into the girls once. Especially at the start there. Bath ready, him going in first out of order.. Guess they thought they had enough fan service with the girls in the big bath.. |

THis season unlike the previous one, is NOT a series of episodic stories self-contained to each episode, but one ongoing storyline, more akin to usual FSN structure - where you have slow slice of life build up with occasional WTF, slowly leading to crazy battles and revelations. All of the episodes so far are CRUCIAL to the story. WE NEED to see this, because of various reasons, including, but not limited to, Illya's own characterization (let's be frank, we did not see any of her normal life in S1, so seeing the life that she wants to go back to is nice). Other reasons will become clear soon too. |

Narration multitasking, very convincing, and finally, drawings and animations of all respect. The OST is always apt to different contexts. | So many explosions, Megumin would be proud. Illya's lesbian urges take control again. Oh, she just wanted to drown Kuro. Angry Illya is scary. How Illya put the carton on Tatsuko's head was hilarious. The second half was serious. It's understandable, that Kuro wants to live/exist. But Kuro, well, Illya wouldn't most likely be that opposed to you, if you didn't try to kill her and cause so much trouble. |
