| Okay episode; probably weakest one so far. Don't think Yuuri actually stands a chance in this triangle. Kou has his eyes only on Futaba, but it will definitely create drama for Yuuri/Futaba's friendship. |

"The night has ended! It's the start of a new day!" Another adorable episode. I can really see that despite their differences, Futaba's group is starting to get to know each other. I noticed different aspects of a basic 'antisocial' or 'tsundere' personality in this episode. At first I thought Murao was trying to make friends with Yuuri, but even if that's not proven to be true, at least in this episode, I feel like they might bond over their shared secret- not that either of them really wants to talk about it, but they do anyway. Murao is antisocial, but perhaps is scared of trying to reach out to others, and that's why she has trouble talking to people and acts like she isn't interested in them. It appears as though she's genuinely looking for someone to confide in, even in Yuuri, who has almost the opposite personality of her. As for Kou, he may be antisocial, but he's also perceptive of other people's problems and willing to help people even if others might deem it a waste of time or effort. That's why I feel as though the antisocial label might not fully apply to him, because he seems willing to talk to others, just not if it's something that's worth his consideration. For a last note, are black-haired characters and cats a usual pairing in anime? Sebastian from Kuroshitsuji, Seishuu from Barakamon... |

| damn that sucks. I was not expecting that last bit. it's going to be tough on their friendship. I don't think they'll fight over him. I know one of them will back down to let the other one be with Kou. Not that he WANTS to be with either of them, whether he does or not. It's not decided that he should be with one or the other. But I really hate love triangles..specially when it's between two close friends and they both like the same friend. :/ :( Oh well I hope it gets settled. |

| It was nice and refreshing, right up until they all went sankaku kankei in the last 10 sec, I can't say that this triangle's balanced at all though, hopefully it won't be drawn out to inane lengths. |

| Firstly, the past two episodes have had pretty mediocre and dare I say badly animated compared to the first two. But they splurge all their budget on a 1 minute scene and then revert back to really awkward looking animation. Which is kind of disappointing because the manga really does have a nice art style. Although the music is actually quite nice and unique, it really doesn't suit a lot of the scenes. Having read the manga and being up to date with it, I really don't like the casting for Futaba and Youichi. As much as I hate most of these characters just for being shit characters in general, the rest of the cast is a A+ for me. Having said that I'm still enjoying it for the sake of seeing them being animated from reading the manga BUT, it's already the 5th episode and I really don't see how they are going to cram some important scenes within 12 episodes, unless of course it gets a second season which I doubt it will based on the budget they have for the animation alone. But, although it seems like it's quite predictable, without spoiling it becomes quite unpredictable romance wise, but I do think this adaptation may give it a slightly, not bad name, but people will be more inclined to judge it by this if they have not read the manga. |

| All I could think about the whole episode was "wow what happened to the quality? Definitely a budget." Except the cat scene was very cute, as expected. And the text scene was sad, but predictable. I forgot it happened so whoops. After 5 episodes, I can definitely say I preferred the manga. The story seemed a lot more meaningful, and I liked the art work better. Ah well, still fun to watch. |

| After reading through this thread, in the last 5 pages I've seen about 8 people "implying" what happens in the future episodes. Read the manga and behold! What those readers said was correct. | The scene with Yuuri and Futaba at night holding hands was really cute :3 In fact they've kept all the really cute and sweet moments which I'm really happy with. And come on people, it's shoujo, it's gotta have SOME sort of love triangle at some point. I must say that I like Kominato a lot more now compared to how I felt about him at this point in the manga. I gradually liked him more and more in the later chapters, but his character isn't that important so far in the anime apart from completing their friendship circle. That being said, I love seeing him come to life - his orienteering rap is the cutest thing ever. |
