Art is about perspective, and resonates differently between everyone, but being an ignorant troll that couldn't do 1% of what the Space Dandy crew does is pretty annoying. cruzateu, go watch more Steins;Gate and Guilty Crown. | Although not as trippy as it was in the episode with those talking plant thingies, the art and animation in this was just as good and surreal. I also liked the planetary system in this episode, very imaginative. Space Dandy has always been very good at creatively utilising its setting. And the space gorilla guy died like for the 3rd time now. Thankfully for him the episodes are standalone stories and everything will reset in the next episode. |

This is why the animation style and tone seem to change every episode. It has nothing to do with budget. This show has a very good budget, and anyone calling the animation 'bad' needs to do some research into animation and art.This episode has by far the best animation of the entire show, alongside perhaps episode 9 from the previous season and episode 5 of this season. 3. Watanabe wrote the very first episode and episode 9 (which he co-wrote). That is all. He also came up with the characters I believe, and the general scenario. I imagine his involvement, especially this season, is super minimal. 4. The entire deal with Space Dandy is that it's a big cave and anyone creative is invited to come along and contribute something. It's a production experiment essentially (though only in basic terms, it's still very well managed - there's just a lot of creative freedom). This includes the soundtrack, which has like over twenty different people contributing tunes. holy shit, didnt know that! That's awesome. |

| That was some Yuasa shit right there. Another amazing episode. Not too high on the humor, but I love how the series is finally starting to embrace the freedom it started with, this is just experimental, weird, creative awesomeness. |

| Man, it blows my mind how they got through the trouble of explaining all of those marvelous space phenomenons as scientifically as possible even if it sounds very stupid, but they make it work anyway, it like this show doesn't even have to touch upon that side of storytelling but it does it anyway, and you know what? That's a welcomed treat. Poor little fish got burnt into a crisp delicious meal, at least the crew went off on a full stomach at the end of the day. Those planet names were hilarious. |
| I just love Space Dandy. This was such a weird WTF episode..actually every single one so far of S02 has been really spaced out. Don't know Ping Pong but the style really worked well with this really weird story. |
