| I didn’t notice this the first time I watched it, but this show has some of the best use of the Dutch angle camera shot (when the image in the shot is not vertical but tilted) I have ever seen. It occurred in the conversation between Lawrence and the Marquis. |

| Amazing episode, I was really looking forward to story development. Now the moment when the gates opened for Lawrence I felt really nostalgic, as if I watched that before... Could be from another show/youtube/trailer/etc. |

| Quite an interesting episode if you ask me, the ending was quite amazing! Let's see who that character was that walked in the door, Holo seems to know her, so it might be one of her old friends she knew or maybe someone she had met in the past. Either way nice episode let's go to the next one! |

| Mmm, she seem in a really bad position.But the way she recognize the guy and the title of the next episode let me think that it's someone that loved her in the past. Their relationship really progressed. Holo is so adorable, it was cute to see her drunk, even if her talking about loneliness was sad. The glasses dude was one cold mothafucka. I wonder if the fact that so much people know Holo secret will put Lawrence in hot water... |

| Damn, shit sure took a turn for the worse rather quickly this episode, poor Holo getting captured :(. I was also not expecting them to figure out who Holo was so soon, I'm guessing that's the reason they were after them in the first place. Question is how did they know? Did someone they meet previously figure it out, is that who Holo recognizes at the end? Either way its not looking good for poor Holo, hopefully Lawrence figures out some way to save her next episode. Also seeing Holo breakdown because of how scared she was to be alone was really sad, felt so bad for her :(. But yeah, this show just keeps getting better and better with each episode. |

| Well, to be honest, I had a hard time understanding some things about trading and stuff, so I need to re-watch the previous episodes. But it was worth it. I was beginning to be attached with this series. And Horo was really adorable when she feels down :D |

| I want a girl like HOLO in my life , she's so adorable . Although this anime series is rated PG-13 I consider it is more mature ( in terms of story ) than a lot of R rated anime . Great Episode . |

| This is a good change of pace and some relationship is actually building with Lawrence and Holo. I was cringing when he started to talk about how he'd open up his own store and find a good wife WITH A GOOD WOMEN IN THE ROOM. I' starting to find out how much these two really care about each other. |

| Seems like Holo is pretty shitty at escaping, expected more from a wolf. I assume that guy who holds her prisoner is one of her old friends? But why would he even bother to send a letter if all he wanted was Holo anyway? |

| Another very strong episode. I feel like I'm finally adjusting to the show again after the first two episodes while not bad, were a little unspectacular too. The episode continues to further progress Holo and Lawrence's relationship with each other, especially when Lawrence confirmed to Holo that he'll remain by her side until they travel up North to return Holo there and won't leave her at any point before then, even if he earns enough to start a shop that he's dreamed about. Until chaos ensued for the both of them which led Holo to sacrifice herself as she gets captured by the Medio Trading Company while knowing about Holo's true identity in the process. That cliffhanger was a real damn intense one, and I'm surprised about how quickly not only was Holo's capture, but the reveal of her identity towards those guys from the company. Furthermore, I have to say that the dub handled the scene of Holo crying on Lawrence really well, made it feel so genuine and terrifying for her to deal with as she's frightened by the thought of being abandoned again after dealing with centuries of loneliness already and finally finding someone she can laugh and enjoy her life with. |

| Watching this series again, it is clear that a key reason why this anime was so succesful is due to its amazing cinematography. This entire episode were just a series of discussions between characters, but the effective use of the camera did wonders to maintain focus without requiring an excess of actual movement. |

| What an incredible episode, I didn't think Holo and Lawrence's relationship would progress that fast there but also got our fill of action and tension in this as well. The series is just gripping even when you don't need a lot of fist fights to tell the story. I really really really hope that Lawrence saves Holo in the next episode I do wonder who that person at the end was that Holo recognised well I'll have to wait and see for that. |
