| It's notable, at least to me, that there were two episodes of the anime to accommodate for this one chapter; usually, it's the other way around - one episode encompasses many chapters. I had forgotten that I didn't initially like Black Lagoon after the first couple of episodes. I did watch it nine months ago, so I wanted to read it just to see how I'd evaluate the story now. |

| As a person that started out with the anime and just recently picked up the first volume, I am so blown away by the art of this manga. I absolutely adored the Black Lagoon anime, and it seems I'll enjoy this manga just as much, and possibly more. |
