| I still don’t understand why people say this anime is a slow burner. It has been fantastic since episode 1! Great episode once again :) Hijikata and Gintoki are badass! Gintoki is also so different from other shounen protagonists. And all his serious lines make sense! |

| Alright, I gotta say that I really enjoyed this episode as always. I like how Gintama can shift from a really comedic tone to a very serious tone, and I really like that. I really enjoyed learning about why the Shinsengumi that are working under Kondo find him to be very important as well, and of course, I really liked the interaction between Gintoki and Hijikata in this episode as well; definitely excited to see what's next! |
| Gintoki working for that old guy with baldness because he lost the dumb version of rock paper scissor xD the Shinsengumi dudes wanted to catch him after his previous fight and he ended up fighting against Hijikata but kinda spared him with breaking his katana, that was pretty good, Gintoki has a lot of potential for sure I really like him |

Even with a wooden sword you would at least attack the enemy to disable him, in this episode he didn't even dare to attack the body, but instead attacked the enemy's weapon. |

He attacked them with a wooden sword and nobody mentioned that they died in the process. |

Must be my subtitles then, I rewatched the scene again and there was no mention of it. I read about it in the wiki though and there it's mentioned that he killed them. So... basically Gin is racist and will only kill aliens? O_O |

And after this great cold opening, even Shinpachi surprisingly takes part in... belching? those pictures of the old guy artificially made more beautiful by the 275 and 384 %... lol That old guy looked like Fairy Tail guild master Hiji was already demonic with Yamazaki just for a wrong address, and Sogo was probably proud of Gintoki for that accidental attempted murder of the former Kagura is suddenly all surprised and worried ... but not for her boss "Call the police" "i am the police" glad that this joke already happened this soon And finally, cool, a real lesson this time by professor Gintoki. "Go behind the chalkboard!" |
