| The anime version is supposed to have an original story not present in the manga (created and supervised by the author himself) so that guy is probably an anime only character. |

| I wouldn't be surprised if it's just a made up character. Maruo has never played a match on a court like that in the entirety of the manga so far. My guess it's more just a match showing his dream of where he'd like to end up. Even Aoi is in the audience and I'm not even sure if he'll be in the 25 episodes of this season. Edit: He's even at STC in the opening. |
