| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Well, that was some simple logic.. And welp, Erika spotted in a cosplay maid outfit. More of a built up episode again for the upcoming tournaments. Looks like the episode adapted the mid sections of volume 3 including chapter 4. I see they adapted the onsen part as well and the girls' talk. What's with that funky OST though L Mikihiko actually did well dealing with this intruders though. |

| The sister and another guy who stopped the car. That first guy who went against the main guy feeling inferior and ashamed that she was able to make the right decision. Magic behind the car... Party time, and speech about magic. Wow, more weird than normal onsen scene for a while. Some attack and the main guy happened to pass by. |

| The car attack, glad that Miyuki was a part of it. Tatsuya detected the magic! Miyuki is in the centre of attention!!! Even with the girls xD Wonder why Erika was forced to come and also about the entire list of the people able to see through the magic trick. Organized terrorist attacks! Honoka looking at Miyuki! Good episode, can't wait for the competition to start. |

| So we thankfully get a look at some other characters this episode. I really thought this episode would be extremely boring but it wasn't. For those who were paying attention, there was important information given. I'm getting really tired of the actiony bits being reduced to less than one half of a minute. Why's Madhouse always making it look like something more is supposed to happen? The accident scene could have all been put into the last episode instead of dividing up such a short scene into two episodes. Kudou Retsu makes his appearance. Considered the patriarch of the current Magician system, his name has the number 9 in it, which makes it likely that he's from the 10MC. Not even likely, more like he's definitely from the 10MC if he's considered the father of modern magic. As for the monologues, it's about time some were put back into the series. You'd think the characters barely think before they speak, if the anime's anything to go by. All in all, another serviceable episode. If I wasn't a LN reader and I didn't know that the competition started next week, I'd be very disgruntled right now. |
| Pretty good episode. The car attack scene felt a little too quick. A lot of Hattori and Kirihara's conversation was left out :( Erika was cute in the maid outfit <3 The onsen OST was pretty cool XD |

| Good ep. The car incident was dealt with in a not bad way. At least they made it understandable why Mari told him to stop and how the process of stopping it went. Loved Hattori and Kirihara's conversation :) Lol'd at the subs "Tatsuya's a BA" XD But really Kirihara really has some great respect for Tatsuya now, saying he's most likely killed and has killing intent and experience more than Navy old men hehe. Erika was cute in her casual clothes and her maid uniform :3 Her talk about how Tatsuya's cold was nice ^^ The Kudou trick was nice. I wonder who the other 4 who felt it were. Kudou immediately figured out Tatsuya's the most BA of them XD Masaki has no chance at all XD Miyuki didn't even know he was there XD They were able to keep the fanservice even with the robes on :3 Miyuki making them not care for gender was lol XD Miki and Tatsuya kicking ass at the end was nice. Can't wait til the competition starts nxt :D |

| After watching 10 EP I can conclude that this anime is pretty bad if you haven't read the LNs. There's less mystery and build up to events etc but if you have read them it's pretty good ya. Rubbish fanservice is rubbish though |

| Wow, what is this, last 2 or so weeks mass obligatory hot spring/beach episodes on all series. And all going for the same lame boobs puns. Tryhard to make Miyuki look great? Not working. Score down to 6/10. |

| So anyway, great episodes but I wanna see more fighting!! cant wait for next episodes, each time i wait for one week for this episodes, it feels like watching it for only seconds tsk tsk.. uuuu and we get to see ze gurls at the onsen, I think, Miyuki goddes- like shown better here rather than her using her sch uniform, she looks like a stick to me, but atleaast now we can at least see so called miyuki goddess like beauty in half naked form muahahaha  poor Shizuku though, huhu, but shes still cute  Pigeon_Senpai said: Too much talking and not enough action. | kind of slow ep i want more fight scenes but probably that why they added the "fanservice" scene with the girls tatsuya always a badass, detecting the magic in the car and the trick from the old man and no matter how many times i see masaki i just see him as kururugi suzaku he looks exactly like him and mayumi reminds me of someone but i cant remember who |

| LOL @ that "lengthy" discussion in the face of immediate danger. I'd like some other character than Tatsuya to save the day for once. He's always meddling in some way or other. Hoping that Masaki will be as strong as he's said to be and won't just get his ass handed to him by Tatsuya (as their rivalry is implied in the OP) after all that wait and maybe some incoming build-up. IMO the fanservice was unnecessary in this one. The whole series feels quite slow as is due to the excessive amount of conversations and barely existent action thanks to Tatsuya ending every conflict in the blink of an eye, so I'd prefer them to move on to the supposedly good stuff instead. Hopefully the tournament will finally start next epsiode, so we'll get some action and less talkking, which at the end of the day all just sums up to "Tatsuya is awesome". |
| Lol, nice Mizuki shaming this episode: You have no idea what "risqué" actually means, Miyuki, do you? I would agree that those clothes look pretty bad (they're goddam ugly to be honest), but there's not a single thing that could be considered even remotely daring in Mizuki's outfit: tbh it looks more like something that a middle schooler would wear than anything else. Miyuki is basically just bothered because Mizuki got big boobs. Whattabitch. Otherwise, okay episode I guess. Waiting for the ass kicking to start. |

| I think it's not hard to guess who those other four were. Mayumi and Juumonji probably saw through it. The other two are most likely Masaki and Miyuki. If not Miyuki then maybe George. |

Anyway, this show seems to be picking up now, nice character interactions now instead of infodumps. That was a job well done with the accident thing. Suzaku Masaki seems to have a bit of an interest in Lelouch's Tatsuya's sister. Looks like he's an important person too (prince or something?) Waiting for Tatsuya vs. Masaki fight (unless OP theme lied to me) <-- no one even dares spoil if it happens or not, I will murder you in your sleep. 4/5 I quit this forum around episode 3 or so it's nice to see the discussion topic having less to no shitstorms (or maybe it's just because I'm early to the party...) |

| Another so-so episode with Tatsuya doing godly things. I think that things seem to be getting more interesting from here on out if the setup for the Nine Schools competition is finally in place. At least I can only hope... Thankfully, I can get my fill of fanservice and "Onii-sama's" each episode to keep me going. |

| Wow that car accident scene was short lived, but at least no one at the bus is hurt. So its a suicide attack, I wonder why do this. Basically a set up episode until the competition starts next episode. Erika's scenes were cute but some interesting conversation to Tatsuya. Yeah lots talking and explanation, some were interesting, but sometimes a bit boring. Tatsuya does it again on saving Miki then finishes those guys off. |

There's infinitely more explanations about things being spoonfed to you via Tatsuya's thoughts. 2. Like a long battle? Or seeing Tatsuya struggle? Probably not. |

Right now out of all the action shows that I'm watching this season Mahouka is pretty low (Chaika being on top, followed closely by Loli Bullet with Captain Arse being third. Stardust Crusaders would probably be waaay there on top if I watched it but frag censorship) |

Actually you will.....the term "long" is relative but hopefully the tournament fights aren't going to be that short. Dry writing is a real thing. It means the prose, explanations, or whatever isn't particularly engaging; it is without pathos. It's like reading the news. |
