Episode 06 annoyed me...

Why do I feel like I'm being misunderstood here. It's not that I think it's unrealistic, I just think it lacks proper development and neither do I think the relationship is scandalous in any way because after all I really like the Otoyomegatari manga, which is about a relationship between a 12 year old boy and his 20 year old bride, where the romance is done properly and definitely keeps you engaged. Episode 06 is where it all went wrong for me and the thing is I'm not alone on that opinion, it just felt wrong for a potential rival to just be pushed aside almost immediately.

I adore the shoujo genre but fragrant-smelling roses can not cover up the stench of the shitty development that has occurred thus far in this anime. I really like Nike's character and Livius is a sweet brat to an extent but I don't hate him, I just don't understand how they're both literally head-over-heels for each other already. Basically the pacing is off but I'm hoping it will be rectified in future episodes.

I now want to ask if episode 07 was any good because right now this show for me is essentially "on-hold". Also them being already in love, most definitely spells trouble and soon enough they will most likely break-up or just not talk to each other....this was the same pattern in Goong but damn was Goong good....but that ending tho! (Manwha ending T_T)

Another fun fact is that RandomC have stopped covering this show, they did up until episode 05 and I'm guessing Kairi, the member of RandomC that was blogging this show, just got pissed with episode 06.

If episode 6 annoyed you then episode 7 will surely kill you.
Yes I thought it was that bad.
You know they actually handled episode 6 very well in comparison.

Well, 7 and 8 will probably bore you, it will pick up more in 9-end.

As for how they fell in love. It started with Livius looking to Nike as a mother replacement, and Nike having a bit of the "Nightingale Effect", but both risking their lives to save the other has been known to bring people closer together.
