| Wow, the last things I expected at this point were a good serious episode and an actually scary monster. What with all the total nonsense going on I was pretty surprised to see a blob of cancer and teeth in the flashback. Where the heck did that come from? |
| haruka's such a great character. i hope we get to see michiru's awakening as a senshi at some point as well. |
| Finally we see their transformations, which were great. Haruka is quickly becoming my 2nd favorite soldier. Also I love their battle/transformation music. Plus no Chibiusa so great episode! |

| Rei is annoying as hell... She's always so mean to Usagi, I don't get it. She's jealous or something? Damn... So Michiru is just a creepy Haruka's stalker but I'm not surprised at all. I mean that's Haruka guys. |

| The villain may still be flat and cartoony, but damn if that science guy isn't funny to watch! I also like their brilliant plans devised which all boil down to: Let's just try a random person. I liked how quick it got to the action, but thought the flashback format was a little bit boring. Though I certainly appreciate finally getting some more backstory! It's really interesting to see the implications of becoming a Sailor Soldier, and how badass Michiru can be. It was about damn time that show focused on her! Their transformation sequences are badass and the new music themes are beautiful! All in all I really liked this episode. Even if ther wasn't much progress per se, it really built on Uranus' and Neptune's characters and revealed some much needed information. If only all episodes could be this relevant! The relationship between the two is still kinda of "ambiguous", but at least enough subtext is there to say that yeah, these two are a couple. I'd appreciate it if it was a little bit more official though. |

| The yuri was off the charts in this episode. And finally the outer senshi transformation and their full theme. So good. |

| Uranus and Neptune were the most interesting senshi in the manga so it was nice to see their backstory, which was missing from it. Pretty cute as well and, as someone who knows nothing about romance whatsoever, I think I'm qualified to say their relationship seems more mature and realistic than Usagi and Mamoru's. |
