| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Great episode. Kinda surprised I'm first poster? lol. Anyway, I'm loving this series. Horo is so cute ^.^ She's a pretty unique character. You get so many of these anime's with characters that fit very identifiable cliche's, like "quiet loli", "tsundere", "big breasted innocent one" etc. :P And I'm totally addicted to the ed >< lol. It's almost rivaling my addiction to the nyan nyan dance from Macross F haha. The next episode looks like it'll be very interesting. Can't wait. |

| Yeah, was an excellent episode. Continues the story well, keeping it on track to be the best series this season, with no real competition. Horo was as awesome as ever. ^^ I prefer the OP more than the ED, but fortunately they're both coming on the same single, so it's all good. The ED is cute, but the OP is just a gorgeous song. |
| I liked this episode the most out of the 3 released, it kept the fun interaction between the two leads going as well as advancing the plot. I got a chuckle at how blunt Lawrence's money exchanger friend was too. 4.5/5 rounded down to a 4. |

| That was such an awesome episode. The interaction between Horo and Lawrence is as wonderful as always. But Horo herself takes the cake in this episode with her awesome trick getting the 210 coins and the way she blushed with the coin guy. |

| Great episode. I especially liked the part where Horo said that : "Males are always stupid and jealous, and females are always stupid and happy about that :D" Other than that the show has finally reached the point where the real business' going on and still managed to keep the wonderfully amazing, both romantic and funny atmosphere :D. I just love this series. About the OP vs. ED discussion : I personally prefer OP. The melody is both calm and interesting, strong and gentle and above all else simply amazing :D. Moreover it fits the atmosphere of the series perfectly. This couldn't be said about ED. The song ain't that bad, even though it was quite a pain trying to figure out which language it was sung in after I watched the first episode, but it doesn't quite fit there. Wonder how they'd do if they tried to end some episode in a serious manner... Anyways this show is wonderful :D |
| I really like Horo, shes awesome...but...the story is a bit...tiring. Dunno. ._. But i think i will continue watching this at least for a few weeks just because of Horo. |

| Good episode, I expected the whole talk about business to be more tiring, but somehow, it was quite enjoyable. Loved Horo's reaction when Lawrence wanted to take an apple. xD |
| I love this series and this episode was awesome :) Through the merchant talks, i feel like im actually learning something .. I think what they are going through is currency speculation (like believing a currency might devalue or depreciate, get a rid of it now to reduce future loses or vice versa). At the end, they were also talking about how the kid is in a win-win situation because if the currency appreciates, the kid gets a profit but if it goes down, he still profits from 10 silver coins? Although, i dont know what Lawrence has up his sleeve for the next episode ... does he plan to tell lies to other merchants just like the kid did and create a demand for them? Eh, we'll see :) |

| i think the explanation is that the kid doesn't lose anything. if the coin depreciates, he can just return the 10 coins he borrowed(as promised). if the coin appreciates, he gets the 10 coins and 10 percent profit. looking at those 2 scenarios, its not actually a win-win situation, but a no-lose situation :D(kinda different because the kid doesn't actually 'win' if he has to return the 10 coins) but understanding the things about currency etc was making my head turn @_@ i didn't quite follow it right.(the ones about countries controlling currencies and the silver content etc) anyone care to elaborate? :D |

| Nice ep ^^ Horo is really sneaky and cunning and how she pwned Lawerance XD I like the low profile this anime keeps.. No stressy action , just calm negotiation and reasoning. Keeps getting better! |

| The merchant talk made my head hurt a bit, but I do love animes where it gets you thinking about things. I agree that the OP has a more soothing melody, but the ED is kinda funny. Great episode, would love to discuss more about the anime. Anyone wanna start things off? Going to other forums is meh...xD |
| I'm finding this series constantly enjoyable, despite the few actual ongoings of the show. The economic discussion is always interesting, and Horo proves to be the best female character I've seen in a long time. |

| Hilarious episode. There may be no-action, romance and drama but it's so fun to watch. This was the most enjoyable episode so far for me. The cute ending song had grown on me finally. Nice melody and BSS did a great job with the cute karaoke effect. Want some applz desu? |

| This ep was a bit tiring...I didnt really like altought i didnt hate it aswell. Horo is cool character but Lawrence talks so boring sometimes. My best ep so far was 1, i wish horo would turn into her wolf form!...but i thinks that will take some time. And whats with horo having no niples? im not a perv or smth...but i mean if they are going to show her nude... |

| There was discussion on this - Basically if nipples are shown, the age rating goes up, and anime can be shown only in night hours, if I remember right, which is poor when it comes to profit. And I don't really care about it. It means there is less dumb fanservice, and they concentrate on the story. Loved the episode. All of it XD How Lawrence pretended not to notice Horos urge for apples... (I was like LOL, she SO wants to eat them.), How Horo fooled that guy with those furs, Horo's Blush, Horo getting the coin value right.. Horo is awesome XD Horo slapping Law's hand, Horo trying to learn the coins names... Well it will be shorter if I say what I didn't like. Yes, there was a thing I DIDN'T like. THE DAMN CLIFFHANGER!!!! >.< Comeon, why we have to wait another week... |

That said I was getting a bit lost with the economics in this episode. That said theres very much a sense of plot ahoy here, I'm assuming that the whole money depreciation thing is gonna be the focus of the story arc here and will hopefully give this series a bit of direction, not that I'm not enjoying it thus far but I think we'll benefit from seeing something happening plotwise. |

| Definitely one of the best series of this season along with Shigofumi and Gunslinger Girl II. I loved this third episode even more than the first too :) |

| I finally got around to watching this show, and I must say I like it very much. I didn't think much of the premise, but now that the story is starting to pick up it feels promising. Though I can't really understand economics, I'm looking forward to the next episode to see what Lawrence will do to make a profit. Also, Horo and the apples were priceless (no pun intended). |

| I'm enjoying this show more and more after every episode, and this one did not disappoint. I tend not to watch shows like this, but I'm glad I started this one it has a nice concept and has a pleasant relaxing feel to it, as allen above me said. I also love the OP, such a great song. The ED's pretty catchy too. |

| horo = loves apples and chokes on potatoes... cute i guess i love how horo just ignores that fact, and keeps talking about his friend who doubled his fortune with apples xD Horo the bargainer. she IS wise =D i loved how they coughed before trying to bargain xD "young lad" = kinda weird. i loved drunk horo coin guy = menotlikes but i loved how horo kinda blushed at will xD Lawrance's jealousy was awesome. next epi = looked interesting i still love the interaction between horo and lawrance. xD |
