Well, that was exactly what I thought would happen from the last chapter.
No surprise, it's a bit rushed but overall an ok ending...
Still got the feeling there was no real explanation on the whole situation and I would have liked a real conclusion.

not an amazing way to end it off, but still, decent.

Have to agree.

Overall, 8/10 (might be stretching it, but I am rather fond of this one).

Hope to see more works by this guy in the future.

Yoshino ends up with Kazuya after all.

It's a good send off for this manga, I'll be interested in the author's next week. Really helps that his art has great distinguishable characteristics that sets it apart from its peers.

'Read' the final chapter RAW. Will wait until tomorrow/when it's finished in English before rating. Seemed like a self-explanatory, uninteresting end, though: Kazuya realised the stalker would still kill Yoshino after his friend tried to kill him/attacked (WHY DIDN'T HE FIGHT BACK WHEN KILLED ORIGINALLY!?) on the same day he was killed originally, rushed to save the day, then all four characters got together for a HAPPY END. Not even a kiss to end it with.

...Ugh. For me the series went off the rails once the dream chats started. That's when the murder mystery stopped being a mystery and 'SAVE YOSHINO FROM BEING A SLUT' replaced it. Never a good sign when internal monologues replace actual conversations. The psycho-loser friend character and four-eyes girl became unimportant and it stopped being the crazy virgin-death harem it began as. An identity crisis. It seemed like either the author ran out of ideas or it wasn't popular enough to continue.

That would've been fine, though... if not for how rushed the last few chapters were. As soon as it became possible for a KazuyaxYoshino romance to develop, love hotel > timeskip > ANOTHER timeskip. Totally jarring, and the fact that history repeated itself anyway, without romance replacing casual sex, just left it unsatisfying. A romance that doesn't go beyond the confession stage, then jumps 13 years, can only be described as shallow. That and disappointing.

I liked the series. It was something different. But its ending was painfully predictable. I KNEW the loser friend and four-eyes would get together. They were 'spare parts' by the end and that was the easy out. And that sums up the series overall, really: even the murder mystery reasoning was absurdly simple--the loser guy blaming Kazuya for bedding a girl he was too much of a pussy to pursue, yet still went on like a lovesick puppy about 10+ years later, then killing him because he didn't save her from being a slut. Errr... I was expecting some HUGE twist that would've made the whole virgin/sex aspect misdirection. But, no: it was the most predictable option besides 'NO SEX'.

I would have to say the ending was underwhelming. And as happy as it seems, it was predictable as hell. Like some of the others though, I did enjoy this series for its concept. I kinda wish it was a bit longer to expand the story a bit...

No big plot twist at the end nor a heartwarming kiss of sorts. 6/10.

Meh. Ending was underwhelming and was pretty rushed. If this story was given another 3 or 4 chapters tops, it would have really benefited. Having those chapters explain some of the plot holes, maybe a more concrete epilogue.

Overall, I did enjoy the series. The beginning was definitely a blast with it's interesting concept but towards the later end, it slowly starting to diverge from it's initial plot.

Wish there was more to give this a proper conclusion but meh, what are you gonna do...

I'll give it a 7. Had a interesting concept and a diverse cast but fell through at the end.

Although it felt as though it was cut short but overall it was still a good read.
If by chance someone should come across this manga, they should definitely pick it up.

Read the chapter. Nothing that wasn't obvious from the RAW.

The most frustrating thing about the ending itself, rather than the horribly rushed-time jumping leading up to it, was that it could easily have been memorable, had it not gone for the most vanilla ending possible. A Final Destination style last minute 'you cannot escape death' sucker punch, and/or the lead realising he had to die to save Yoshino... ANYTHING other than both surviving with "hope" and no romantic follow-through whatsoever.

Beginning as a murder mystery then transitioning into more of a romance could've worked, had time been spent on Kazuya and Yoshino becoming a couple. Then, a death troll end would've been doubly effective. But it ended up doing NOTHING: no mystery satisfaction, no romance and just cartoony white knight heroics to close off the series. Truly disappointing.

I'll give it a 7/10, based solely on the premise and it remaining good until the last 3 or 4 chapters.

PS: A plot hole I never thought too much about to begin with is how Kazuya became a 'player' in his first life. He had none of his 32yo wits and experience and wasn't popular, yet he kept screwing the sexiest girls around himself. HUH!? It made sense when he jumped back in time... but originally?

Man wtf!? it just...ended....so sudden man it was unbelievable. it was so rushed aswell. did it get cancelled or summit?

There was so much more the story could have told n it was so fkn interesting! the protagonist was amazin! I would have rather have had it show their lives more after the 14 year skip. n just add more shit in like a new twist to extend the story. and even an explanation on why he got a second chance.

so much potential kinda wasted imo.

should have been 50 to 60 chapters THEN end it.

I just read the whole manga today. I didn't really enjoy the last few chapters, but the rest was exciting and new. Overall i like it although i have problems with the flow of things.
I'd rate it 8-9/10, i'm not sure yet.
Hope to see more from the makers of this manga!

It was a good read, with a very interesting premise. I really liked it until the 14 years later part. There are parts that are unrealistic, such as Yoshino still having feelings for him after so many years.

Overall, it was still a very enjoyable read. Despite people feeling that the ending didn't tie things up, I thought the main point was that the two of them have defied fate and lived, so I see it as a successful ending.

Well he really didn't give a shit about anybody and was screwing women in abusive or just generally bad relationships. Low hanging fruit man!

Regardless as to what anyone was saying with this manga. I enjoyed it, I think this is one of the best manga I've ever read. Im fine with that kind of ending but I have to admit that thid manga has a potential of going above the top if it given a chance to expand the story. Maybe 60-80 chapters. It would also be great If it were adapted into anime then fixed some loopholes. Anyway, I rate it 9.5/10 :)

Wow! The last three chapters were pure crap, and the 14 years timeskip just made it worse. Seriously, Kazuya stayed a single and virgin, so the moral of the story, make your life boring to save a girl? I dont like how the author put all the blame to Kazuya. He's not a nice guy but he's not a bad guy either. It just unfair to blame him when Yoshino have her own life. She chose to be a slut and ruined her life, not because Kazuya didn't save her or whatever.

6/10 - 1-19 chapter
1/10 - 20-22 chapter
3/10 overall

Congratulations for Masaki for getting married with the best girl.

While I do appreciate that it turned into something more than "gotta save muh virginity" from the start (even if it turned into gotta save her from being a slut later),overall it wasn't anything all that impressive and the mystery elements were just basic at best and completely underused.

This was an okay manga but the biggest problem to me was that almost all of the characters except Boobs-chan were either boring or extremely annoying. It's hard to cheer for the ending where the guy gets the girl when you don't really like either of them that much.

Also, I felt like the MC got too many answers "handed to him" by his nightmare conversations. It was just like a train barreling ahead for the sake of the plot.

Plus, I felt bad for Boobs-chan having to get married to that annoying best friend. There was a reason why that guy was a 30 year old virgin/wizard.

It's a crowded train but I have to ride with the "started great but finished weak" riders on this trip. By the end, I was confused with all the self chatting panels. And I do agree that if there would have been a kiss at the end, I might have bumped up the score a whole point. As it stands.......7/10

It was an okay ending, it could have been better though. It was kind of a bullshit open ending. Maybe another chapter or even a few more pages would have done it some good.

I figured Masaki and Soutome would get together, but I didn't like that it left it so open ended with Kazuya and Rika. I mean it clearly showed they liked each other, but it needed something more. I mean obviously he did change her life for the better, but it would have been nice for just another chapter of them talking and getting together.

I was confused about one thing. Did she still get pregnant and have the abortion? Or Was her leaving just a destined thing that she would have left anyway no matter the reason? That chapter where she left came off as that she did still get pregnant even though she did lead a better life in the end.

Also it would have been nice to what happened with the whole Reiko/Hiro/Mitsuru thing. Did Reiko finally confess or stay with that abusive asshat?

Edit: After dwelling on the ending more, it left so many unanswered questions for me.

Did Kazuya stay single and virgin all that time?

Yoshino led a better life, but did she never date anyone else? For all we know, she still could have been a gigantic slut and still worked at a brothel.

Who was the stalker that even stalked her in her new life if she hadn't led the destructive old one?

Were both single at the end? I mean it clearly implied they still like each other.

Were they going to get together?

Gah, It makes me rack my brain a bit because of how much I enjoyed the journey and how it petered out so badly at the end.

The ending was kinda underwhelming and since the last two chapters were kinda rushed and it didn't flow well. But overall it was a good series. The time travel concept was done neatly, even though there's no explanation why he was able to go back (or see images of his future).

Right? It left so many unanswered questions, the would-be murderer who shows he could still go off the handle for nothing gets a happy ending and the guy who goes through all of this shit to save the girl he's in love with gets to be a virgin and might not get the girl? What?

It was so good in the first chapters, but to be honest it's becoming a little worst towards the ending. I would have enjoyed more if there were more pages, this ending felt a bit rushed. I would have loved too if there were some pages dedicated to the future of those friends and, who knows, married couple. It's still a good manga imo, 7/10
