| Masked man lasts for only 4 episodes, I am disappointed. Enju's corrosion percentage from 24% to 42%.. I wonder if the author is going to kill her off or pull some DEM and bring her back. | ... that was easy... and a bit lame. I'll be truthful, I'm not a fan of the zombie-apocalypse genre, but I had been steadily enjoying Black Bullet(well it was primarily because of the voice actor of Rentaro...), the action if not brilliant was entertaining and the story easy to follow with the discrimination against the Initiators being a decent plot point. I was thinking of it as a well done Strike the Blood, without all the unnecessary ecchi scenes, and it was reminiscent of the older shonens, where they were using the post-apocalyptic setting as a background for the action to unfold. After this episode though, I'm not sure where this is gonna lead, and now I can't think of Rentaro as anything other than an Edward with a growth spurt. *sigh* Can't really find good action(just action) shonen these days. 3/5 |

| Alot happened in this episode but things went by too damn fast to have an impact. BTW has Rentarou been lying to Enju the whole time about her corrosion rate or has it really gone up from that one battle? |
| So...this episode was dumb. 1. Why don't they build more of those Railguns? Super effective and they have a ton of that precious metal. 2. The fact he was worried he might miss and hit civilians was just stupid. Everyone was going to die anyway (if he didn't hit the level 5) so accidentally killing people shouldn't have been an issue. 3. The political part they threw in at the end could have used at least a little build up....I'll assume that was in the novel and for whatever reason they cut out the buildup to that. |

| This anime (adaptation) moves insanely fast, making it difficult to enjoy and especially to appreciate. But other than the pace and lots of artificial drama ("the whole world is relying on you, please"), this episode wasn't too bad. |

| Damn, this show surely has some serious issued with pacing its scenes. Its hella fast, man, no kidding. Like other comment i suddenly red, shit must gonna happen soon. Really dark to the kid development on this show. So much dead, and i kinda like the dead rate for important character. Sometime i mad, but in other time i rather enjoy that dead scenes. |

| WTF is wrong with this show? Normally this episode would have served as a season finale - with high stakes and dramatic moments. But how the heck do they expect the audience to be emotionally invested into any of this at this point? We barely got to know most of these characters, if at all... Like for example how am I supposed to feel at the scene with Kayo? We literally met her only at the end of last episode and barely got any scenes with her. Seriously - the start of the series wasn't all that great but I never expected it to go downhill in such a fashion. |

| That was enjoyable is what I'd say if it didn't feel so quick but what can I say it's done but there's a lot to talk about it's compact and I can't say its fast since I haven't seen the manga comparing to this adaptation But it got darker as the episode progressed and the ending is a bit concerning who am I fooling this is a dark anime and the seinen tag is there for a reason. |
