| All the more reason for one or both of them to die at the end I think? I dunno, maybe I've yet to see a story with perfect characters getting happy endings made me think that this won't be an exception too... maybe I'm just hoping for Miyuki to die at the end so there will be HonokaXTatsuya :P |

In fact, even though I haven't read the LN yet, it seems to me that she is not only the person most supportive of her brother, but also the only one able to walk beside him, instead of behind him like all others... Funny how people criticize her behaviour just cause they are brother and sister (are they really?? somehow there's something wrong in this supposition, they don't "feel" like siblings... dunno why though... just that "feeling"), but I bet that if they were nothing to each other and just met now, most people would ship them together saying that she's been trying really hard, and that Tatsuya needs to give more attention to her... So, long story short, no I don't hate her, and if somehow the feeling I'm having is proved correct, then I even ship them together!! |

She's just better than other people and there's nothing anyone can really do about it lol. Also when they talk about her peerless beauty they are talking about Yamato Nadeshiko traits and what Japan sees as the idolized picture of beauty. Things like a slender figure and thin willowy limbs, graceful posture, unblemished and pale skin, long flowing well kept hair (particularly the Hime Cut which Miyuki has) long eye lashes, modest sized hips for child bearing. It's hard to describe really to someone that doesn't just grasp it as a cultural thing, but it's like traits that are considered comparable to those of a blooming flower. If you understand all of this then you can see how Miyuki is perceived as flawless by her peers that subscribe to this hyper idealized notion of beauty, which the author clearly does as well. She's probably the most Yamato Nadeshiko looking character I've seen in an anime since Kuroyukihime from Accel World or Yukiko Amagi from Persona. |

| I like her character, just not how the voice actor portrays her. :x I actually like her voice actor, but she has this real distinctive tone when she does the whole mannerism thing and it doesn't sound that good in my opinion, e.g. Anya (Soul Eater Not!) but she has a nice tone when she voice acts for Hakua (kaminomi) and Yui (kamiaso). |

| Incest doeesn't bother me- Miyuki, however, does. The problem is that I haven't been able to see much of her personality. All I can see is her brother complex. It's pretty hard to judge a character off of one trait, but that's all the anime has given me. It's hard to like a character like that, because unless you have a brother complex, you can't relate. And honestly I feel like she was put there for the sole purpose of emphasizing just how great Tatsuya is. I mean, all she does is sit there and spout all this stuff about how amazing he is, and she's basically an information broker for Tatsuya's powers. She's the one who explains all of his secret abilities. all the time. So I don't hate her. Because I don't KNOW her. All I know is that she has a huge brother complex. In another light, is it just me that is bothered by the fact that nearly EVERY single female character flirts with Tatsuya or blushes around him? It reminds me of harems, which I have a vehement abhorrence for.... |

| Maybe sometimes when she just says "Onii-sama", gosh it really kills my ears. And her jealousy and in denial thoughts when it comes to Tatsuya, really? I haven't seen any development for her and Tatsuya yet, and I don't ship this two either. |

| I don't like her as a person. But she is a great character. She's part of this show's charm. Tatsuya confronts everything from girls throwing themselves at him to terrorist attacks with the same completely bored expression, which at times seems to suggest that he feels amused by the idiocy, incompetence, and general inferiority surrounding him. Nothing he says, thinks, or does reveals this attitude, aside from the occasional hint of a smile. But those of us who watch Mahouka, we know. Tatsuya invites us to share in his amusement at the people and events he encounters. Miyuki saying ONII-SAMA at every opportunity and acting like a jealous bitch whenever another girl gets close to him is just another thing for Tatsuya to laugh at behind his stone-faced mask, and just another thing for us fellow superior beings to laugh at with him. Right? I mean this show is a comedy, isn't it? |

| One of the other reason I got into this series is that,I usually read plot synopsis and character descriptions in wikipedia for new series that I discover,with what was vaguely written their I was expecting her to be a tsundere who looks down on her pathetic brother type of character,so I read the manga,not being a tsundere sold me to her and the series (Tatsuya not also being a pathetic,weak MC is a plus). Onii-sama thing,when she starts saying his given name,it's the time you should be concerned where the story is going :) |
