Oh poor Mayu. The pain is painful isn't it? It's kinda interesting how descriptive this manga goes into describing the characters' emotions and role so far.

Oh and the way it describes the essence of murder is also quite noticeable:

A murder is a bit like an excursion. Or maybe even travelling. What I mean is, the planning stage is when the heart flutters the most. That's why I choose to plan for every little detail before I actually burst into action. When I finally make my plan a reality, all I had to do was entrust my body to my subconscious for it to do the work. That way it was more stable. Yes, stability. As people repeat their behavioural patterns on a daily basis, it was only natural that they yearned for stability. When it came to the repetition of actions with considerable risk, stability is extremely important. For example, the buying of illegal goods, or stealing, or murder. I, too, am not an exception. I desire stability in my life. Because of that, I thirst for a partner. I hunger for a partner. To find a partner in which we could accept each other, where the urge to kill was almost as natural as breathing or blinking was my priority in life. For years, I continued to search in this country-side town. Without being unable to distinguish a suitable partner in this cramped world of common sense the search was difficult. And Naturally such a person did not appear in front of me. I was not looking for someone who would only kill their person of hate, only under the condition that they would not be found guilty. A person who would never regret a murder even if they were to be executed, or a person who would choose to kill or not to kill according to their moods were the types of people I yearned for. People who had a set of rules within themselves that they followed. People who lacked or had extra emotions. I desperately wanted to meet someone like that, and talk with them, or maybe even kill each other over something trivial. So I decided to change my tactics when I had come here. I deeded to commit murder. Hoping for people similar to me to wander like moths attracted to the flame. The result was disastrous. i had become the main provider for material for the media. I was no different from a dog that could walk on two feet or a beached whale. If someone were to mock me and call me a dumb animal, I would gladly accept that. I would perform on two feet and lie across a bed of sand. Unfortunately though, this neighbourhood didn't have any beaches. Although there's an excess of rivers. But let's return to the main subject. The man next to me is smiling to himself as he reads a porn magazine and is being extremely creepy. Seriously, back to the main topic for reals this time. I wonder how long I have left. From what I observed of the police, it seemed that if this was a three minute match, then I would still have more than two minutes left. Now, I wonder if a fateful meeting would befall me before my time is up. I placed the magazine I was reading back in to the shelf and walked towards the shelf with the freshly arrived bentos.
