The Protagonist, the most important character among all the main characters is The Main Story is not just about kids with super eye powers but Where did the hype came from? About Shintaro and Ene and Spoiler Who are the antagonists? |
| I enjoyed the new episode quite a bit actually. Momo wasn't really my favourite from the source material, but I feel like the adaptation managed to introduce her nicely for an enjoyable episode at least. They're probably going to need to start actually explaining at least some things soon if they're going to want to keep people who don't know the source material, but at the very least it was a fun episode of Shaft just doing Shaft things with KagePro characters. Plus, they used Kisaragi Attention! That was rad as hell. I hope that if nothing else from this anime they're going to put more of the songs into it, which I have no doubt they will. |

| I haven't been this bored while watching an episode of anime for a long time. Dropped, dunno why I'm even bothering with shaft shows anymore. |
| I don't dislike this episode, but I prefer the first episode because 1: I' m not a huge fan of Momo, and 2: the first episode had more 'action'. I like how we see more about Momo's past, but the teddybear and such were pretty weird, and the conversation with her teacher was also a little bit long-winded. Just a little bit... I like the animation, it's special. I haven't seen bakemonogatari or whatsitcalled, so I' m not yet used to this... It has quite a few unnecessary parts, like the turning of a head in full detail or momo jumping off that bench (which looked kinda awkward too), and I think if they didn't put so much time into that they'd have more time to put more 'interesting' scene's in, like momo meeting the Mekakushi Dan. But I guess that's SHAFT's style, and I accept it. I like the opening and ending, but I don't particularly love it. And I prefer the voice of IA in the ost's (yeah I' m used to that voice now, because I listen to the songs quite often :'D). I think IA's voice fits this anime better... I think you should watch this anime with a 'fresh' mind, by which I mean you should just accept everything that happens and continue watching. I do that with every anime. Decide after the last episode whether you liked it or not, especially with a short anime like this. If you REALLY don't like it, well, I can't stop you from dropping it. |

| Well, that was awful. Pretty disappointing. I don't know what happened to Shaft, but this is outrageous. I hope they step it up next episode, or my FAL ranking will drop XD |
| I like the style, but so far i don't really see much of anything happening. What are you guys going about ene and momo? who is ene? Oh it's that blue girl. How would they be the same what? Are we going to have some other random character next episode? is this just gonna be a mess of shit that we are expected to make plausible theories out of? I will keep watching because i'm interested to see what they are planning to do, but so far not seeing much here. And for fuck sakes people, with adaptions like this do people seriously always have to talk about the source material? Can't you just leave it out, even if it is in spoiler tags. |

| I see a lot of people complaining that the teacher/conflicting scenes were way to long. If they were shorter I'm sure everyone would complain just as much. Personally, I enjoy SHAFT's awkwardness. They can turn a plain not very intense anime into something interesting. I'm sure I will enjoy more to come. Especially that awkward almost crotch kick. |

| Momo chan save the Anime for me. EP1 was a little bit boring but this one was nice. Kisaragi Attention in the beginning and ending made me smile because I love the song sing by IA but then this time sung by Momo. |

| Both Shaft and Akiyuki Shinbo are trying way too hard and it fails completely. That said I hope this gets better later on. I'll probably check out the manga. |
| still dont know how i feel about that shaft style...pretty heavy throughout this episode...it was pretty abstract here and there... but still getting through the series. gotta keep reminding myself to concentrate on the characters and ignore the shaftyness >< hibiya is adorable :3 loved the Kisaragi attention song~ beautiful ed~ |

| I really like this episode, however I wish the pacing was faster and that the end of this series comes to a conclusion to the songs/novels/manga, but I kind of doubt that now. Also, judging by the reactions of the fans, we might not get a second season either Well, at least the pacing isn't like the Dangan Ronpa adaption |

| I'm liking how Shaft just portrays the people from Momo's past into various items and VCRs. It really shows how isolated Momo is from everyone else, and it also puts attention to her in that way as well. Loved how these little Shaft-ey symbols and quirks help with the explanation of the character's background. Along with those close-ups and head-tilts, I feel that without them, the episode will definitely have been boring to me. I felt that Shaft should have at least made it more clear that this episode takes place before episode 1, by possibly introducing the date 8/14 again, viewers may not be too confused as they are. The problem that I see with the first two episodes is that it leaves the viewer with more questions than actual answers, and I'm not too sure if the interest is enough for the viewer to keep on watching (lol back to ep. 1 where Ene says, "Hey I'm getting bored. Hurry up and buy that keyboard already.") That doesn't help when the pacing of the episodes are absurdly slow (Even I griped on the manga's terrorist arc), and lack of initial plot and drive will chase people away, especially if they aren't as versed in the song/LN/manga content. |

That makes no difference in regards to how boring, uneventful, and incoherent this series has been for a sixth of its total run. I find this series to be the equivalent to something like the anime adaptation of Blaz Blue. People who don't know anything about the series have no fucking idea what's going on, and the anime adaptation only has appeal to those who are familiar with the source material. There's also too many Shaft-style self-inserts which get annoying. |
