I think he kinda did that too as GTO, can't remember right but I think at some point he decided to simply walk away too ;) I really like these ovas, I loved the part where they were calling all the wrong numbers and Toccata and Fuge was playing in the background lol. I think in GTO there were a little more serious moments but this was a great one. Now you know the kinky poster of Eikichi in front of the class is nothing new lol |

It really doesn't matter, this takes place before GTO and came out before it but it's not essential to watch this first as GTO wasn't really made assuming anyone watched this as they were made by entirely different production companies. Also, though GTO was made for a large TV audience, this was made for a limited video release, so even in Japan it would have been silly to have assumed many people had seen this. Anyhow, I liked this quite a bit. The second half was much better than the first to me though. Didn't really like the whole thing in the first half with the vengeful teachers, just couldn't suspend my disbelief enough for it. The second half's story was much better though in my opinion. |

| Had some Golden Boy vibes, I guess both anime are from that era. So basically all characters in this show as awful, except maybe for the friend of Aina who seemed pretty nice. Not the best watch I had, but will finish this anyway as preparation for GTO. |
| I just finished Kimagure Orange Road today and thought Ayumi-sensei sounded familiar and what do you know she shares the same voice actress as Madoka Ayukawa! Not only is she voiced by the great Hiromi Tsuru (RIP) she looks a bit similar to Madoka appearance-wise too... Guess it'll take a while for me to get over KOR... GTO: Great Teacher Onizuka is a legendary series I heard a lot about for a long time and since I'm watching a ton of 80's or 90's anime lately I thought I'd give it a go now and what better way to start it than with the story that came before GTO. I just wish the VHS quality I acquired wasn't so bad. I liked the episode and also the fight with Machida. It's great to see that Onizuka isn't an OP badass who magically wins every fight but have losses and comebacks. Anyone else thought Aina had a d!ck when Momoka said she has a "secret"? |

| Onizuka was so different back then. I can't believe he's the same Onizuka from GTO. Ayumi is sexy. Just like Ryuuji, I'll go serious with her! Aina is so cute! I wouldn't mind screwing her even if she has venereal disease. Unless it's really bad, and her pussy stinks. It should be fine with a condom. I'm sure Aina got screwed in all of her holes that night. Just thinking about it is giving me a boner. That payback was so satisfying to watch! Hopefully, Aina will no longer be abused from now on. It's too bad Onizuka didn't offer her his protection. Virgin and young Onizuka is still a badass, nonetheless. No wonder he's so experienced in life by the time of GTO. Ryuuji is also cool. He's a bit similar to his older, more mature self by the time of GTO. |
| it was just okay, I'm guessing most people watch this backwards as a prequel, after having seen GTO? But I've never seen it, it is however an anime always recommended to me that I've been meaning to watch. The beginning was interesting watching them tryna debut as lover boys, after seeing in other anime and knowing about people debuting as delinquents & there were a few points that made me laugh...but I found the more serious action parts kind of stale, and lot of the 50 min runtime kind of boring. I'll stick with it and hope I enjoy some of the other eps a bit more as I do still eventually wanna get to GTO! |
