That was a good ending. 7/10

Though some story arcs were condensed and rushed out most of the time. Yes Himeragi was annoying throughout the run, but to my defense if Kojo is stopping some guys ambitions, he needed some backup to either fight another person, or need a powerful attack. Himeragi was not that bad in this episode so I'll give her credit for this.

But hey at least the character designs were attractive (La Folia, Asagi, Sayaka, well almost all the girls.) Oh wait Reina is the daughter of them..... What about Moegi, who is she? Wouldn't mind if there is a second season of this.

7/10 for me. It was good enough but never took that step I was looking for. I do like the fact that they showed us a possible future for what may be a second season though.

Also, the only reason I like this show better than dxd is because it doesn't have the overdrawn fan service. Both though far surpass Maken Ki, which is sad since I liked the manga when I first read it.

It's kinda like Kojou just says "This is my fight." just so that Yukina can continue her "This is our fight." line like usual.

Maybe Kojou likes hearing her say that. That would be an interesting twist on things.
And the reason I left anime-planet was that. People would watch just for hating, and finding it fun for calling series they dislike garbage and rant. It was so full of poison (at least currently airing anime) that it was overbearing. Glad to know here it isn't like that, I swear I'm glad.

And I do believe Kojou said the line in purpose this time around just to listen Yukina say her part, as he was happy when she replied.

Lol wtf is that big black censorship at the end. Hmm so Asagi will have a daugther too. Who's the father? Is Koujou dead in the future or not? I'm confused.

That was a good ending I guess.

I don't know what to feel about this series. Who wrote this piece of crap adaptation? Seriously. Let me check.... Yeah.. this guy. AW, GC, Fractale, Magi. No wonder this adaptation got fucked so badly.

I never even read the novel but I can tell that this adaptation really failed. I thought this series had a lot of potential but well, I was bored half of the time because they just move on from arc to arc instantly. It felt rushed as hell. How many volumes did they cram in this two-cour adaptation?

I find every characters interesting except the main male and female lead. Such a waste.

6/10. I enjoyed some of the episodes but yeah, mostly boring.

6 Main Volumes and 1 Extra were adapted on this season.

Also I've never checked directive staff so I wouldn't what that guy has done right or wrong, but all in all it was nicely crafted. I mean novels do tell a different arc from each volume, that much is a given and happens with Toaru, Tokyo Ravens, Date a Live, to name a few. Nothing wrong with that, it is just the way they work like.

Well, I doubt that guy has done anything right composition wise. There's literally no transition between arcs. They just suddenly introduces an enemy and defeats it after 2 or 3 episodes. Is that how it is in the novel too? Felt like they just focused where fights will happen.

And so it ends.

Strike the Blood hurts my brain so much because of all the difficult names and words that are used :s. Also the things they say before they attack like "I, Sword Shaman of the High God, as a priestess of the Lion,......" and many more. Owh boy owh boy.

And as always what Akatsuki and Himeragi say:
Akatsuki: From now on, this is my fight.
Himeragi: No senpai. This is our fight.
This really makes me laugh. (How many times did they say this? To many to count.)

This really reminds me of To Aru Majutsu no Index only a bit different.

I hope for season 2 te be announce soon.

A very consistent show throughout it’s entire run. StB’s the kind of anime you can easily decide whether you’ll continue watching, which means enjoying it for what it is,or drop if it’s just not your cup of tea.

Tokyo Ravens was still better though :P

yes i would agree that its one of those animes that you either love or you hate personally i absolutely enjoyed it :D and jeese i rlly wana see S2 now :P
personally i enjoyed Tokyo ravens but i think that the hole understanding of all the different families and what they each believed in and how they related to each other was hard to keep up with and became quiete confusing so had to re watch some of the EPs :P so bcus of this i enjoyed stb more due to it was less confusing and had vampires which is one of my favourite genres :P
score of stb: 10/10
i tend to rank anime high anyway with many not going bellow a score of 8 :P

nice to see Asagi winning in a way since she has a daughter with kojou in the future, wonder if kojou had any other daughters aside from moegi and reina
That's what it means by Akatsuki's (synonyms for morning) empire haha. I think it is referring to Akatsuki Kojou's harem!!!

Nice ending 8.5/10 ~ 9/10

Damn, so Moegi is Asagi's daughter. That's disappointing but I figured as much. I'm probably alone on this but I found Asagi boring as hell from the beginning to the end. Worst girl in my opinion.

+1, I found Asagi nice.

So Kojou did end up having a harem haha! It was a fun ride, looking forward to a season 2.

I actually really enjoyed this ending, most likely will have a season two but they didn't leave anything out that I couldn't live without in the first season, maybe asagi learning that Kojou is the 4th primogenitor.

So they do know that it was their daughter, they only denied it because they're shy together but they know. Mostly all the fights in this anime are going to be short and I've come to live with it. They better have a really big high merit fight in season two.

Some people might not like the harem stuff, I watch harems so I'm fine with it. Plus the whole concept of the anime is him drinking more blood to unlock more familiars to use. So even if the people who don't like harem anime, it makes sense.

I was going to give it a 7 but I'll bring it up to a 7.6, 8/10 because the ending satisfied me to the point where I'll definitely watch a second season when its made.

Yukina alone as a character and all that comes with it ruined this series. But with boring characters, generic setting, unfunny overused pervert jokes and stuff like that was horrible. But the worst part off this hole series was Yukina's "Ie, senpai, bla bla bullshit." I was about to throw my screen out the window this last episode.

The only good thing about this was that the familiars had cool names.

Why did I even watch this show? I want those hours back!

"WORNING", lol. +1 for Engrish.

I rather liked that ending. Nice glimpse of the future, where apparently Kojou rules a utopian empire (though the ending with him being referred to as 'dead' kinda messes with me, especially when Moegi contradicts her). Kojou has some hot freaking daughters, LOL.

Overall pretty solid finale. Too bad we never got to see him drink Asagi's blood. Hoping for a Season 2, we've still got lots more Familiars to unlock, and a utopia to bring about.

I also don't get this line? What did see mean I got to see my dad before he died?

The only thing I can guess is that he has a personality shift after he becomes the true 4th, and is no longer the carefree guy he is now.

Also curious, will Koujo make his wives/lovers vampires at some point, because he won't die neither will their kids, and I don't see what is stopping him from turning them into vamps.

I was wondering how vampires work in this show. Is vampirism inherited (so Yukina x Kojou's kid is a vampire as we see), or is it something that has to explicitly happen. If it's something that has to explicitly happen, biting does not always trigger it, but has a chance to (which is why Yukina has to get tested?). Or is there some other ritual (how did the powers get passed down from Avrora to Kojou)?

I suppose it was only logical that Reina didn't tell anyone(especially her parents) her identity as it could threaten her existence. Though it hinted a little in the last episode that Natsuki may have had a good idea.

This show leaved a bad taste in my mouth.
The characters was bad and boring with zero development, Kojou for example is exactly the same as when we first saw him in episode one, and I am pretty sure we can say that about all the character except maby Asagi, that I would let pass, but barley.

Overall, this show is generic and boring with nothing that makes it memorable or standing out.

Best anime this season, with noragami coming in at a close second. However, that isn't always what I thought. You can't really tell if an anime is good until the ending, which, most anime this season totally failed at.

Dude what the hell, why are watching a show that is 24 episode long if you don't like it. If tt leaves a bad taste in your mouth, and yet you keep watching, you watched for 24 weeks. I bestow to you the "fail in life" award for this week.
