| I've just rewatched this episode, and it struck me that I still do not fully understand Horo's reply when Zeiren requested to see her face: Basically, throughout Horo's little speech, Lawrence and Zeiren both looked a little shocked and they seemed stunned at the end of it. I understood it as Horo quoting several proverbs and linking them to chide Zeiren (whom she later comments on as being too noisy) for being too curious for his own good. The arrangement of the phrases also seems to juxtapose a positive point with a negative one (enticing --> dreadful --> beautiful --> terrible?), while the part about a journey's preparation being the sweetest seems to link to the warning against being hasty. However the significance of the content of each phrase escapes me (why a dog's howl? Or a woman's back?) Hope someone can enlighten me :) |

| Wow great episode, Horo was kinda scary at the end but it shows how the relationship between wolves and humans was conflictuals. I really loved how the interaction between Horo and Lawrence went on, even though they belongs in different species, they begins to be really close to each. Looking forward to see their relation evolves even though it's kinda predictable. Also I really like Horo personnality cynic and derisive, somehow she reminds of CC in a better version. I really begins to like this show. |
| I'm beginning to like this series. I like how Horo always strokes her tail! If I had a tail, I'd pet it too :3 lol I sung along with the ED too heh heh I think Horo is a wolf only in title. Her actions seem more like a playful puppy to me, probably because of the potatoes (lol alliteration ftw). Maybe she'll display more wolf-like characteristics as the story continues...? |
| Now we know one thing. Potatoes and Horo can't get along well. Damn you Horo, too cute for me. Loved her reaction when Lawrence got mad on her. Wonder if she attacked humans too. I wish that the other merchant would scam them. :D |

| I though that it was a nice relaxing episode. That lat part in the end was unexpected. I wonder if they are going to meet again with that guy that tried get into their business proposal. |
| Liking how their relationship is unfolding and growing. We're also learning bits and pieces of both their characters. Can't say much about the overall story yet, since it still seems unclear. However we know that Lawrence plans to take Horo to her homeland up North. A nice episode, especially the part about the wolves nature toward humans and the parts when they were in their room at the church. |

| Almost dropped serie after 1st episode. But suddenly i found out I would give it a 1 ep bigger chance. And its a keeper! :3 I feel more relaxed. Nice and calm anime to chill a bit down from shounen animes. Horo is smart, and her "truth/lie" ability will most likely be very beneficial for the dude. And the interactions is interesting. |

| I really love this anime even if I'm just on the second episode. Holo is so kawaii, that she can compete for grand-prise on a contest between kawaii characters. Lawrence is my favorite character already. The atmosphere is so well created in this anime, that I can't really find any flaw in this aspect. |

| It bothers me the way she keeps stroking her tail from the tip, downwards. And this somehow smoothens it, which is ridiculous. Because the fur lies in the other direction. |

| Surprisingly I'm actually really enjoying this Anime. Not much happened, but still fairly entertaining. Oh and am I the only one who finds the ending theme funny? xD |

| This seems like an anime where you can like the boy and girl. A lot of the times a girl that is as egotistical as Holo is annoying to me but she is actually pretty likable. |

| Despite Holo being a deity who obviously held herself to be superior during that dialogue with Lawrence, I found it odd she apologized and was sympathetic to him, since in my perspective and the way many other stories portray them, gods or otherwise divine beings tend to be apathetic to human emotions. Maybe just because its anime and keeping up with moe and all that. |

| Ok....this episode was not as interesting as I had hoped,because since episode 1 it's been on the verge of being dropped. I don't know what all the hype is about, but I don't see any interesting plot, and character development. Sure horo is cute, but I think i will go out of my mind by watching this...it's just so slow and boring. no offense to the fans. I want to drop it, but maybe it gets better in the later episodes. I guess. Episode 3 will be the deciding point. |
