Shakugan no Shana - Manga or Anime?

Title pretty much sums it up. Especially I care about the ending: does the story differ?
I've already seen I and II when they aired.

The TV series is awesome. The last season gets a widely mixed reaction but for the most part many people didn't enjoy the TV version. It's not necessarily better than the Manga but definitely worth watching.

I think manga stopped somewhere at Aizen brothers? Unfortunetaly...
But from what I could peek into manga and LN, they are so much better. The characters are better described there and have a deeper background than in anime.
