The Worse Parts of Gantz?

So I've finally managed to watch the worse anime i've experianced all the way through. It's sad it could've been a "fun" experience, at least that was the impression i got from reading about it. I mean really where does one find the good in this show, it's tasteless with it's frequent fanservice shots, it's poorly setup sympathy kills, and the action would be great if the characters didn't babble and toss around pacifist philosophies as one of them is about to be be brutally killed by some demonic entity. Really what it comes down to I need someone to comfort me from the brain pain I'm suffering after I witnessed this atrocity.

Just read the manga. The anime was not a good adaption.

I watched Gantz and really enjoyed my time. The plot was very interesting, the action scenes were great. As for the fan service: just deal with it. All in all I can say, the anime was great (didn't like the ending, though, since it wasn't part of the manga). I later read the manga. I engulfed the first 90 chapters (those that were portraied in the anime) of it, although I already what was going to happen, anyways.

Gantz is an amazing work, and I'm saying this not as someone who only watches action or fan service based anime.

The anime is worse than the manga throughout. So read the manga instead.
