| On 2nd viewing: I loved how Mitobe was able to successfully box out Murasakibara (albeit for only a moment) since he was seen teaching Kagami how to box out bigger opponents and was also the first to spot Kagami's struggle against Okamura. It demonstrated his expertise and experience in boxing-out giants. Kagami's decision to throw away the symbol of his brotherhood with Himuro after witnessing Kiyoshi's tenacity was consistent with his valuing of teammates above self (his character has grown so much since his selfishness and individuality in season 1) and how his teammates always seem to inspire him to raise his performance -- nakama power ftw. The anime really has been skipping a lot of manga material -- both extraneous and crucial material alike. While it adds a lot to the seamless pace of the match, I feel that the anime producers are either overestimating the intelligence and perceptiveness of its audience or they just couldn't afford to squeeze them into the episode. While this is usually a good thing (a good many series are guilty of too much exposition), I really do feel some of the manga exposition is necessary and the anime is poorer without them. I personally wouldn't have arrived at the same important insights that was required of me had I not read the manga. I strongly recommend reading the Touou and Yosen matches on the manga after the anime is done for the season. |

Shit felt like a sauna even in an airconditioned room. |

| This show..particularly this episode.. need a supernatural tag. xD I mean the "mirage shot". What kind of sorcery is this ? I was like O.o when Kagami's hand went through. Otherwise, love the ep. I'm happy their focusing on the other team mates more. Kiyoshi was amazing. xD And Izuki shun's hawk eye was great too. I was waiting for them to mention it in the previous eps. But it's like they forgot his special move or something. Murasakibara pouting like a kid LOL. And Himura has got some slick moves. |

| This basketball team isn't giving off the same intensity as Aomine match did. There were some bad music being played at times especially Murasakibara scenes, the music was terrible... |

| Pretty good episode. I think they did Kagami slipping part a bit differently in the manga (involving people cleaning Seiren's side of the court). Kiyoshi really needs to be benched for a while |

Aomine did more on defense than Murasakibara. He seems lackluster compared to Aomine but still great. |
| With that BGM and all, I thought Murasakibara would enter the Zone. He's definitely gonna unleash hell on offense. Kiyoshi stepping up Seirin's game. Awesome. Looks like the way to stop Tatsuya's mirage shot is probably just to lag a bit before blocking, seeing as Taiga was late in blocking that shot due to the sweat but still managed to touch the ball anyway. |

| Four days left... man I'm bored lol. After re-re-rewatching the episode, I actually really liked Seirin's team play. It isn't just Kuroko and Kagami carrying the team (which was most of S1). Having Kiyoshi as PG had a massive impact on Seirin's style of play. My vote for manliest KnB character of the year goes to Kiyoshi! Murasakibara turned super sieyan at the end and suddenly fog appeared around his feet, sometimes this anime is so weird and random. Then again the skills are also quite bizarre at times. |

| now this episode just fixed for me important part - first of all, the tactics, just missed it, and second the fact that though this match is less intense than the touo match, it's not less exciting, really great things. now we finally get to see murasakabira abilities! and i wonder what kind of trick hiruma using. and i can't get yet the whole brotherhood thing of kagami and hiruma, only in the first episodes of the season it looked natural. |
