| I've been messing with my guitar for a while and thought that this song is EPIC. Who also thinks this song is good? Well, with my amazement. | Its pretty great for the first run. Id say that there are parts in the intro that need fixing, some notes are higher, i think there are some harmonics involved there. I think that if you lower the tune, lets say Drop D youll be able to play it better and easier couse it needs to sound heavy and fluently and on drop D its easier to get that sound. What gear are you using? Anyway, I usually skip the song when it goes from the heavy guitar mode into the techno modern mode but "whatever floats your boat" I say. |
| The harmonics are intentional to make it somewhat different..but I can't do it perfectly yet XD Drop D...hmm I've never tried playing any song in a drop D and that'll fuck me up since I'm doing single notes with the 6th string XD Gear? A cheap guitar, a guitar cable, and my computer. I'm using Guitar Rig ^^ I need to emphasize that harmonic between the riff. I'm still finding a way to do that XD |
| Try pinch harmonics ala Zakk Wylde. Try playing it with power chords to make it sound heavyer. |
| Zakk Wylde???... *gone to youtube* I haven't mastered pinch harmonics yet. I need to get it to almost 100% accuracy. Actually it's the most recent technique I've learned XD |
