| I know enough about dream interpretation to have an understanding as to what they seem to have gone for this episode, but it was still bland. The execution was quite unfocused if what I picked up (which isn't very different from what other people have already mentioned here) is on the right track, and the repeating segments only felt like they were there to half the animation budget for this episode rather than hold any real significance. |
| i love this show. as previously mentioned, it is up to the viewer to interpret, rather than explicitly stated. sakaki seems to be the moe character that stands out the most. their outfits when not in school uniform are very fashionable. the colors pop out right at me. tomo is still my favorite. |

| There's some weird af dreams, tbh. Poor that we dont see Yomi dream, tho, lol. Best dream for me, obviously by Osaka and her hilarious interaction with Chiyo. Look, she fly with Chiyo's pigtails there! Weird dream comes to Sakaki. Like, wtf, she dreaming Chiyo father without even met him? Ridiculous! More shit hyperactivity goes to Tomo, even on her random dream! Poor Yomi, getting much chop punch from her! And the last shit goes to Kaorin. Surely she dreaming Sakaki. Unfortunately, the dream not became into some wet wild dreamy. I wait for it, but its not happening here xD |

| I.........had very little clue about what the heck was going on with this episode. I thought they they were going to talk about their 'dreams' for the New Year, but no, it was their literal dreams (thanks to one of the earlier comments highighting why this was a big deal). I also don't know whether I'm more or less confused after seeing the creepy orange cat finally make an episode appearance. Sakaki really has a weird mind. Poor Kaorin. The only one who should've been allowed to continue her dream :P |

| "I have nothing to teach you." 😭 I do like the addition of Kaorin at the very least, I think they could've leaned even harder into the girl gang honestly. This one episode stretches out what's like 7 pages in the manga. So if you think this is pretty nonsensical and drawn out even for this show, it's because it was. |

| The dreams in this episode were a blast, and I'm excited to see how they continue to develop the characters' personalities and relationships. Azumanga Daioh never fails to bring a smile to my face. |

| I've genuinely LOVED this series so far. But this episode wasn't my favourite. Overall I'm not a fan of "dream" episodes. It reminded me of that one Alice In Wonderland dream episode of Ouran Highschool Host Club, which I evidently did not really enjoy either. |
